Re: Wynona the wagon's resurrection!

Alright, finally got the AFR gauge re-installed with a new sensor. It's working great. Have to do some top speed loading for fuel mixture, then I can set the needle height accordingly. Still having idle issues, but ordered some Grose jets today from Moss Motors. That should solve that I think, I'll ...

Re: Wynona the wagon's resurrection!

Depends. Have Sunday Easter/birthday brunch tomorrow, then looking at a house. We shall see. Maybe I'll charge the gopro and have Rose operate it. ;)

Re: Wynona the wagon's resurrection!

Got the exhaust back on, want to re-weld one hanger, but other than that, Wynona is pretty much ready for road testing. Rose and I will probably take a drive tomorrow in her if the weather holds. It's Rose's birthday today, going to do wifey stuff all day. First order of business, walk the dogs!

Re: Wynona the wagon's resurrection!

Hmm, nope, it's correct. Maybe I'll try adjusting the screw to have it hold more vacuum.

Re: Wynona the wagon's resurrection!

Hood is back on finally. Removed all the air fuel ratio stuff, just had a bunch of temporary wires hooking it up. Figured I'd work on the exhaust first as I don't technically need the af gauge now that I have it pretty close. I can move the fuel adjustment a needle or two and go test it. I know I'm ...

That looks super sweet! I like the widening. Custom back glass and windshield is going to be spendy though.

The choke cable are running through the speedo cable grommet that was ripped wide open. Called Nissan, go figure, NLA.

Re: Wynona the wagon's resurrection!

Alright, finally got the choke setup done. Drove the wagon under her own power back into the garage today. Getting close. Need to get a mount for the AF gauge, re-attach the bottom cover panel, put the hood on, and get the exhaust squared up, then she'll be ready to drive to work! Can't wait! https:...

Re: Cantbe canby 2018

So Keith, as it turns out, Jethro Tull is the same weekend as Canby. And since I'm going down on Friday for the concert, looks like I'll have to stop by Canby on the way back on Saturday. Sounds like you need to get your truck running. Or take a trip with me in the wagon. ;) Of course, I still need ...

Nice work! Makes me wish I still had my 510. Love my Maxima, but I do miss the orange 4 door hooligan mobile.

So it looks like I'm going by myself. Might take someone else with me, not sure just yet. Rose is going to stay with the dogs since she has to work because a co-worker hogged all the weekend days for vacation already.

One tire fryer unfortunately. But I'll still try. ;) After it warms up above 6 degrees of course. It's cold here tonight. I just walked the dogs with 3 jackets and an arctic suit. I was toasty!

Re: Wynona the wagon's resurrection!

Sweet, I started looking at the vacuum diagrams I had for the 240 and I think I understand how the little can thing on the top works now. It's a variable bleed system so when you whomp the throttle, when you let it drop, raises the secondary throttle lifter to increase idle and then gently lets it d...
