Re: Gracie II the D21
Well there's been a ton of updates since the last posting. It's all on instagram/facebook though. Short of it is there's been a lot of learning. However, the shafts are separated and I think I have most everything figured now. The only downside is I have a 1 piece 2nd synchro that I don't have. But ...

What the actual fuck you dumb spambot? Is this AI spamming? Seems to be about the same level of intelligence. That is, not very. Or at least not a good grasp of the English language?

Re: Jacob's goon build
Any updates? I feel like we're a ghost forum anymore....:( I'm to blame too, barely update my stuff on here. Doing that social media thing. Good news is I'm smart enough to not give a shit and let it take over my life. ;) Oh, and did I tell you I got a Hobart Handler 210 MVP welder? It's sooooo fuck...

Re: Gracie II the D21
Since I haven't been updating here much, here's a photo dump for you all! I highly recommend checking out my instagram account. Wow, I sound like a porn bot, lol. I decided I wasn't going to pay to have someone rebuild my trans. It's time I learned. So far it's not quite terrible, though the counter...

Re: Gracie II the D21
A lot of progress has been made on the KA24E. It's ALMOST together and ready for install. Still a few things left to do. I'm hoping I can actually get the engine removed this weekend, but it's still touch and go. Figured out .030" off the head results in .85 degrees retarded for the cam, so I put it...

Re: Wynona the wagon's resurrection!
Welcome to the dark side! As mentioned everywhere else, I thought it stupid to ask the smallest motor to make the most hp to move the heaviest Datsun. (Aside from the hardbody) Anyway, this is now going to be a much longer project due to all the plans. I figured two-three years before I have the wag...

Re: Betty White, the now not so neglected race car
Alright, new plan! The 2200 pound racecar is getting the RB20DET from the wagon. With about 300-325 hp, which should be plenty reliable and it'll be faster than the L28ET was.

Re: Gracie II the D21
Alright, big picture dump! There have been quite a few developments since my last posting. Namely, I realized too late when I went to get an intake manifold gasket, I built a California head! Much bench racing ensued as I tried to figure out if I had screwed myself or not. The good news is back in t...

Re: Gracie II the D21
Thanks man! Also, since I've been updating instagram and Facebook regularly, I know it's been lacking here. Gonna dump a bunch of photos from the phone and finish it up on the laptop since it's much easier to type quickly on the laptop.

Re: Gracie II the D21
It's time to start putting the engine together! All the parts are finally ready! Minor porting on exhaust side, would have taken much more labor to make significant gains. https://i.postimg.cc/sgSSL7yZ/IMG-20230323-175820-078.webp https://i.postimg.cc/QMJ78DF8/IMG-20230323-175820-163.webp And it loo...

Re: Wynona the wagon's resurrection!
The good part about this is I have a clutch pedal. ;) I can dump all that power quite quickly. Plus it isn't going to be off the line like a torquey V8. I'm going to have to hit 3500 rpm before it really starts increasing power. Below that and it's still pretty docile. One of the good things about a...

Re: Wynona the wagon's resurrection!
You know, I've been doing calculations for how fast I want the wagon to be. Realistically I need that 400 hp. Also realistically, I don't think I'm going to have this car together by the end of the year. Especially if I want a bulletproof high boost RB.
