Re: Jacob's other projects

Well they started promptly at 8am. I was gone for awhile. Got back at 5:30pm, and they were 100% done/gone. Crew was probably 6-8 guys. They even replaced a section of plywood!

I have no doubt about it. They have been fast thus far. I mean, they used 3 guys today just to put material on the roof.

Re: Escape From the Prison Planet

I remember when we were looking for a pump just for the Fountain/waterfall at my house (never happened). Moving that amount of water up that much (30ft) made for an expensive pump.

Re: My 1969 Datsun 521 kingcab diesel

When my friend frame swapped his 521 to the 720 4x4 one, I really wanted him to run both tanks. And being that we had a body lift on it, gravity would have ...

Re: LZ20 engine build

I still buy a bit from Baxters. They are the closest to my house. And the main guy there knows his stuff. Just got a new battery for the BMW, with the NorthWestZ discount, it was $25 cheaper than anywhere else, and its a very good brand. If you didnt know, North West Z has a club discount through Ba...

Re: LZ20 engine build

Tilt the motor over 15 degrees like it sits in the truck. Now is it at 10 and 2? I always set my motor with gold link chains, or counting links on the chain.

I put Thailand door seals on my car. Never an issue with them. They dont see much sunlight so they stay fresh, unlike a windshield seal.

I almost scored some Blizzaks on my same OEM wheels for $250. They were 70% tread life.

But yes good deal.

Re: Jacob's other Wagon

Im going to try something. It cant hurt. The last time I went to a catch can and did all my drastic measures, I went from a quart of oil a week to a quart a month. Im not done. But in stages, things will happen. At least this 2002 car is ready for the new Oregon cell phone law. I have hands free ope...

Re: Jacob's other Wagon

So fuck BMW and their "high efficiency piston rings." Pretty sure that is why my engine eats oil. Course at 175k, badly taken care of motors from any brand could do this. But I dont think this motor was badly taken care of. Everything I have ever touched has been OEM. Removing the Catalyti...
