lol, it doesnt "hurt", but goin over old railroad crossings does bang ya around a little... haha

the new cams make the top end come on kinda like 2 stroke power... i think its kinda cool how it runs now. sounds a lot better now i hear it from the camera perspective.

got a new video camera.

went with the cheapo SJ4000 non wifi go pro knock off.

for $75 its pretty good. plus i had a $50 gift card, so that helped. lol

gonna see how the money end of the deal turns out.. it anything, i think ill just re ring the DE. when i think about it, the single cam needs a set of lifters and the timing chain at the least. it was getting low on compression too. if i can just get it to stop suckin down so much oil, ill be in goo...

thanks for joining.. well, back at it with the oil consumption issue. topped it off, drove it to work and back and checked it the next morning. from full, it looses probably more than a quart in 50 miles of driving. now most of my driving it on the freeway. its mostly the high RPMs that i notice the...

back again.. so i think i finally have most of the issues ironed out finally... its been running pretty good in this warmer weather weve been having. it snapped down to 28* tonight and it fired right up and run like a champ. it looses intake velocity if you get on it right off idle.. runs like a top...

so ive noticed this engine uses a lot of oil.. made a post on FB a while back and didnt realize id had drove the truck mush more than i though i had. thought it was using much more oil than it really was. finding out that it uses about a quart every 100-150 miles.. so it needs a rebuild at some poin...

got a new alternator belt this morning. no more squeaky belt. im excited! i can run my headlights and heater at the same time now... yay
