Re: Escape From the Prison Planet

I thought I got a pic of the neighbor to the north but didn't. A HUGE bull on the hill this morning. That field is usually empty with a couple dozen cows on occasion.

Re: Greenvanner?...

Cool thing about an HEI is that they're easy to bench test. Jumper from batt+ to B+ terminal and another batt- to the distributor casting. Put a spark plug (also grounded) in one of the plug wires, and spun the gear.

Re: Escape From the Prison Planet

I'm going to be doing a retaining wall above the house. There's going to be a standard apron/driveway in front of the garage. From there to the front door will be a sidewalk, likely stamped concrete. Roof will just be standard asphalt shingles. I considered a standing seam tin roof but really didn't...

Re: Waynos work truck.

I'm certainly not a hydraulic expert but used Grainger for a lot of pneumatic cylinders when I was working in the door shops. You'll need to know diameter, length, and stroke. They will probably have replaceable/interchangeable ends to choose from to meet your needs. Now is the time if you want to a...

Re: Escape From the Prison Planet

Sure will. I figure another 3 months. Met with my builder today and asked how his is going. He's thinking he'll be in mid-April. His house is about a month ahead of mine. I can live with that timeline.

Water on the deck isn't a bad idea. Plumbers start next week. They started installing it today. https://s14.postimg.org/i5ndibje9/20180216_083754.jpg I had a job in Pasco yesterday and they got it wrapped and started installing Windows and sliders. https://s14.postimg.org/wq4gcttox/20180216_083903.j...

Re: Escape From the Prison Planet

Nope. Wide open.
The decking has been delivered. I'm not sure about the color now. It's dusty out here when farming activity is underway and I have a feeling it's going to look filthy all the time.

Re: Greenvanner?...

Interesting that it's got a points distributor in it.
Pulling the engine is a huge ordeal. I'd build a big plastic barrier and clean it in place. You'll likely be revealing that intake before it's all over too if your goal is bone dry engine.
