Re: Wynona the wagon's resurrection!

My vote is to sort out the SUs. I feel that they are a superior setup to a single 4 barrel. BTW, I like Holleys but not on an inline engine when there is a multicarb alternative.

Re: Wynona the wagon's resurrection!

I think you'll find that HF chain hoist comes in handy for a lot of things.

Wife goes to work, Matt is in the garage yankin' it. Classic HRH. Keep us posted. Maybe no pics though.

That's great! If they know your mom you're golden. Should be smooth sailing -- except for the rain.

Re: Escape From the Prison Planet

It's got a pretty burly pump already. I talked to the well guy a little when we got started. Innitially we were planning to leave the system as-is and add a tank in the basement up the hill. Well guy said since I upsized the new replacement tank an additional tank at the new house isn't necessary. A...

Re: Jacob's other projects

Ugh. I have no envy. I spent around $40k getting The Compound ready to market. The roofing guys were far and away the worst of the bunch. I wish you the best of luck.

Re: Escape From the Prison Planet

Well, the freeze plugs came in and we got them installed. Had to pull the motor mounts and suspend the engine from the hoist. https://s7.postimg.org/4d82vj8sr/20171113_111723.jpg After my dad put it all back together we took it down to the river and ran it on the trailer for about 15 minutes. Sounde...

Re: Escape From the Prison Planet

They're in a big pile right behind where my trailer is in the last pic. I probably won't move them until spring when I rent a skidsteer for a couple days.

Re: LZ20 engine build

They've really gone down hill in the last 10 years. I used to buy exclusively from them. Even had an account there because I bought so much. Can't remember the last time I shopped there been over a year.

Re: Escape From the Prison Planet

A guy I know over here was getting rid of some rocks/boulders. All I had to do was haul them out. 1 trailer load hauled out by my dad and 2 loads on my trailer. We loaded and unloaded all of them by hand. Not sure where they're going to end up yet but it'll give me something to do in the spring. Roc...

Your garage looked decent to me. Wood stove if I recall. I understand one project at a time though.
