Re: Betty White, the poor neglected race car
I definitely had some shavings in the ebay intercooler piping I bought. Not sure if you are aware, but regular hose clamps run a risk of chewing up silicone couplers. And then Tbolt clamps are stupid expensive. The best actually is embossed worm clamps. Also a link (warning PDF) showing why worm cla...

Re: Jacob's goon build
Ok, I nearly finished the exhaust Saturday, but wanted to hold off until I actually had it done(ish). So from the picture above, I perfected the angle on the straight piece into the muffler. As well as figured out how to hold the muffler into location. https://bl3302files.storage.live.com/y4mCuTr0S6...

Re: Laecaons New Place!
Thanks! I did the headboard because the room was really bare feeling. Got the idea and it was done. Amazingly its not event attached to anything. The bed frame pinches it to the wall. The shelf thing was surprisingly easy to make, just needed extra time for the poly to dry. Every time I walk into th...

Re: Jacob's goon build
Now get to work. This site has a depressing lack of 510 wagons. Took a moment, go look at my house thread. Anyways, Lets do some work. For the past week I have been working on the exhaust. Right now I am waiting on the hangers to come in, ordered Sunday and only shipped out today... Now remember, t...

Back in December, the Farm(my friends parents farm, we have a fire pit there) got a bit muddy. I had some fun. https://bl3302files.storage.live.com/y4m9awofDwchp2zOlKk6YkpAHS_xchv3hzyzsiuXR6MdZ_CJvhO_2RfKIYNxULQVEGOvkMa-lIaUlvMffMQtkuWVy5E_Jqk70NITv4LDS_ovBifBac5bnhl10QdSUtct6dNqiW4IIu2xWxIJ29H4Bt31...

Re: Laecaons New Place!
I think this is gonna be a longish post... So since October 2020 I have been depressed. Girlfriend leaving/moving out, living by myself, rainy season, not being as close to my friends, and lets throw in Covid lockdowns too. That all came to a head a couple of weeks ago. And well now I have some happ...

Re: Betty White, the poor neglected race car
Get yourself some copper jam nuts for the turbo manifold. Copper wont seize to the stud, and the extreme heat turbos make lead to seizing conditions.
For metric hardware, I use belmetric.com. They carry a lot, and decent price.

A trailer which can load way more than your truck can tow? lol.
Sorry, I want a trailer, but have no where to put one.

Re: Around Waynos house
Do you have any official plans you are going off of? Or just kinda winging it off of other designs?
Ive never worked with solid teflon, no idea you could just staple it.

Mine has 18" of actual flat bed on it, takes a 48" belt. I figured out its a 1962 Craftsman. Its a beast.

Re: Betty White, the poor neglected race car
I saw those pictures, definitely not the way I expected it to warp.
When I put the Stainless headers on my BMW, of course it was a Chinese special and was severely warped. Spent some time on my belt sander with a 50 grit belt and made them flat. Never had a leak issue, or had to retighten them

And finished. And it works! Sadly garage is only wired for 15A. But so happy to not have to use extension cords for everything. Near the garage door on the right side. https://bl3302files.storage.live.com/y4mASt3PbryUthJxJshFDAMJFZjq3V1P_C55cAnxPPAKT-4eGDym1CJhlzqVEaogQBXeY_33S_bFkhYmXux6R9159D6kNT8...

Re: Wynona the wagon's resurrection!
Not the way I expected it to warp. CX racing stuff... If there are knockoff chinese ones on ebay too, it's the same part. I bought SS manifolds for my BMW. Not flat at all like all cheapo manifold. About 20 minutes on the belt sander with a 50 grit belt, and both manifolds were flat. I never had to ...

Re: Laecaons New Place!
Finally starting some electrical fun. Swung by Home Depot and bought some stuff. Plan is to surface mount outlets. 2 gang at the bench. and 2 single gangs at each front corner of the garage. Bunch of random bits, and not pictured is 70ft of straight conduit. https://bl3302files.storage.live.com/y4mp...
