Re: Around Waynos house
Good luck. I have had a hard time with grass seeding my backyard. My problem is I have a gigantic water oak tree that I refuse to cut down and it pulls all the moisture from the ground. Grass doesn’t want to grow under it. From the picture, you’re not going to have that problem.

Re: Gray Man, Inc.
I’ve never seen a hearse pulling a U-Haul. You can’t take it with you. If it wouldn’t sit too long at your place and you could get to it before it was too far gone I’d go ahead and get it.
Of course I’m notorious for making bad decisions too so there’s that…

Re: Around Waynos house
Check to see if it has a little curly tendril near the stem. If so and it is turning yellow and dying (the tendril) it should be ready. That’s the newest way I’ve heard how to tell it’s ripe. There is also the yellow spot like you said (you want it yellow not white)and the tap on the side method, sh...

Re: Gray Man, Inc.
Yeah I’ve started 2 years ago doing a road trip with my son so I know that takes a lot of planning. Ours are usually around 1000 miles total, not on bikes mind you. I don’t know when we’ll fit one in this year. It happens with buddies sometimes. I’ve experienced that too. Just get fed up with the bu...

Re: Gray Man, Inc.
Dammit man that looks like a blast. I always envy the trips that you take with your buddies. That is a whole lotta miles to be sitting on a bike.

Re: Around Waynos house
From what I understand beekeeping is a whole other animal. We didn’t have many bees around here this year, either. As a matter of fact, I let a lot of clover grow in the backyard to kind of attract them more so.

Re: Waynos work truck.
So now if you have a load of gravel, sand, or something you can theoretically remove the back board on the bed and dump it as you ease the truck forward to spread whatever more easily. At least that’s how I’m understanding it.

Re: Around Waynos house
Oh yeah I agree, all my own fruits and vegetables taste better than store-bought. Like I said, next year my stuff will be in the ground and a little bit more effort put into the planning of it.

Re: Around Waynos house
Indeed you should. It can almost be a full time job. And your plot always looks well kept. As much time and effort that has been put into our menial garden vs. the yield so far I think it would be cheaper for us to just buy the vegetables we want.
I’m hoping next year turns out better

Re: Around Waynos house
I was mainly asking about the closeness of the plants or the fact that they’re in a raised bed. After doing some research it looks like my problem is that I don’t have enough calcium in the dirt (potting soil which is actually just chipped up bark as it looks). From what I’ve read, once the plants s...

Re: Around Waynos house
I’m just letting mine run across the ground. Like I said before, all my stuff seems to be rotting. I assume it’s from all the rain we’ve gotten. Tomatoes are yet to be seen but are looking decent. https://i.postimg.cc/nV3j1nP8/IMG-4867.jpg If you guys have any suggestions (judging from that pic) abo...

Re: Gray Man, Inc.
I’ve only got tomatoes and a few zucchini so far. Squash is rotting. I think it’s because of all the rain and moisture we’ve had. Fig tree and blueberry bush got zapped by a 3 day freeze with nothing happening yet. The tiny house is looking great. Trust me I know how much work is involved in that. E...

Oh, I wish. Nah, I went to a little drifting thing couple weekends ago and it was one of the cars running.
