Welcome to NWD. Looks like a real nice fine. Never have seen a passengers outside mirror before, that's got to be sort of rare. Whats the plan for it?
Also will these NOS wheel's be for the 521 ?

Thanks guys,
Yes the Rally wheels are earmarked for the 521. They came off a 1978 620. The guy bought the 620 new and drove it straight to the tire shop for some white spokes in 1978 :? and kept the OEM wheels around for 36 years.
I'm thinking I will lower the 521 by re-indexing the front torsion bar and using lowering blocks and/or removing a leaf in the rear.
I would appreciate advice from anyone that has lowered a 521. I'm concerned with driveline angle and pinion alignment.
Thanks again for the welcome and nice comments on the truck.

for the rear lowering I strongly suggest tracking down 720 4x4 leafs, I have heard some places look at lowering blocks as a big NO NO

I had pretty good luck lowering my brother's 520 by shuffling and flipping leafs. It's not as quick as blocks but only cost about $10 for new spring bolts. Sorry, no pics. It was close to 10 years ago and we didn't document very well.

Looks pretty nice! Hard to tell what color that originally was. Kinda looks white, kinda looks pale yellow, kinda looks cactus green.

Let me know if you want to sell those hubcaps once you swap to the 620s.

That's a nice looking truck, and I'm glad to see you were able to get it back on the road.

Now you need to update your profile, it says you don't have a Datsun ... but we know better! ;)
