Isnt that for egr? There isnt an oem plate to my knowledge, just an ugly glob. Make a plate, or as some have referred to it as, a cockoff plate.

Could be. I've never had a L20 manifold or the plate before. Looks like coolant flows though the holes so I thought it was of some importance.

If I need to make a cockoff, I'll do so.

Yea, that is just the EGR stuff. Block it off. Of course RTV and maybe making a quick gasket might be a good idea...
