So...this truck is making a comeback. Just bought a motor for it and a Toyota solid front axle. It'll be coming along again! Tired of not having 720 in my life!!!

What Datsuns do you have kicking around at the yard?

Looking for black bucket seats that will fold forward.
Something from a 2dr. Removable headrests.
Something medium profile.

here we go guys....UPDATE! so i bought a motor and a hood from work. hauled the engine to my datsun and quickly realized the pan was full of metal. so im taking it back and getting another. but i scored the fiberglass hood for free. also dug out my armored toyota rear axle and started working on it and bought a toyota front that will be getting armored up shortly. also need to rebuild the front.

Isn't mine either. Not enough neck rolls.

Except you guys don't live in the same town as him.

Fixed yet?

Question. Why go with an older 4.3 and not the VORTEC?

Had a rough spot a while back and sold the painless harness in it. Plus the tbi motors seem to be stronger

Thanks tim. I'm glad to be working on it again. Got my replacement motor today. After work tomorrow will be working out a deal on more parts from my boss. Wanna have the sas and engine swap done by spring!

So guys. Been a while since I updated this. Been hoarding parts since I only get to work on this maybe once a month. But I have my new engine. Have been working on it. Hoping next time I get to the truck I'll be putting the engine in!

Well guys.....I made huge progress yesterday! Engine all mounted in. Plumping is all done. Throttle cable modified. Clutch works. All that is left is putting the radiator back in and wiring the engine. So close!!!
