Wow man. Didn't know you were going to get in it like that. Thought some paint on the frame would have been all, this going for a show queen?

I just want it nice. Honestly, once the body goes on most of it will be out of sight unless you're under it. On the other hand, it'll spend quite some time in the corner of my shop waiting for that body. At least when my buddies come by and give me shit about it not being done it'll look good.

Def worth the time man. Looks good, can't wait to see it finished.

Any word on the body parts? Or is that still a ways off.

I lied. Still needed a few more hours. Then it got moved out of the booth so my brother could paint a BMW motorcycle. But then something happened...

I know it was all black before but this time it's the actual chassis paint. It's not quite done yet but getting closer.

Frame got moved back to the shop for assembly but sat there untouched for a couple weeks.
Image
Started by hanging the pedal assembly and related pieces.
Image
Cleaned and painted all the front suspension parts before fitting then refitting. Just like on TV, nothing fits the same after it comes back from the paint shop. Still need to buy some hardware before I install the sway bar.
Image
Image
Set it on the ground and dropped the engine and temporary transmission in place.

Have family coming in to town this weekend so I'm not sure how soon I'll get to the rear suspension.

Thanks, dude. I'm falling in love all over again. Now I just need to start hoarding dollars and put the pressure on my live-in body man to get to work on his end of the deal.
