So I really like how the lip works and I'm sure it'll be a hassle like everyone says, but once i get it, I'll be content.

is this the proper lip?
it seems to be in my opinion.

That's a good reproduction, and should fit the bill.

The original ones seem to hold up well, they are more flexible. Sometimes you'll find Camaro guys wanting to freshen up the look of their car, and they'll buy a high-end reproduction unit - then sell you their old one cheaper than the unit you're looking at. Since I'm into a ratty look on my truck, that's a perfect option for me, but you should be happy with the one from you found.
