Then l series being cheaper arguement is invalid?

there was a time when L series could be had for cheap. It seems those days are gone. A long with the 50 and 60 dollar matchbox dizzy days :| I've seen L motors going for a lot... 250+. hell i saw an L16 with 4 speed listed for 400 bucks. Dafuq??? You can't give 4 speeds away when you have one, or an L16.

So far, this L is cheap.
I'm not paying anything for it.

I gave it to Kevin a while ago.
He rebuilt it and ran it until he got his L20B.
18 has been sitting on a stand since.

I would totally love to KA in the future.
But there is nothing wrong with going L. Short of finding the pan.

Isnt it? Mostly front with a small notch for the swaybar? Just like the napz sump but 15 degrees different flanges

I guess I'm the exception. To me, the L (especially an L18) has 100X more sexy points than a KA.

Even if the KA/trans was free it would cost more to do. The Can/Am box alone is another $150, bigger rad, electric fuel pump, motor mounts, (assume the exhaust, tranny mount and drive shaft mods for both cancel out) The H-150 is now stressed more and you've added over 100 pounds over and above the L series weight increase. The L series is the next logical progression.
My Datsuns, like good friends, have never let me down. At least in any way that was not understandable and thus fixable.

What? The a10 rad can and will cool a ka, fuck a canambox, its free to wire a ka in.
No way a ka weights 100# more than a 500# l series and trans.

You guys are hilarious.
Unless there is a KA in it when I pick it up, It ain't happening.

I'm with Driven. L equals pure sex.
Throw some SUs on it-fapping harder now.

I no longer cry myself to sleep. I dream of this car.
In my dreams-there has always been an L under the hood.

Jacob-
You listed those 2 510s at the PnP in Sherwood.
Can you check on price for the pick up and pan?

Is that the proper way to drain oil now?

My job just got so much easier if true.

Im pretty sure they do just put a hole in the pan.

You want it with a pan?

Ill figure Im just going to take my battery sawzall, cut the crossmember, cut the centerlink, then use my drill, pull the 22 bolts, and knock the pan off.
