Grabbed up the 1200 coupe a couple weeks back and started my thread on the Realm. Now I will start my thread here. Lets get this list of pictures started.

The ride home from buying it :D

#2 has some failure in process. Gotta hot tank the block and balance my bits. I forgot to go pick up the 1.5 DOHC head at the parts store today :(

Cannot wait to offer this build kit for these little motors. :cha:

Fucking wheels.... one job wheel!!
Im glad you got this old beast, me and my brother worked out so many deals toward me getting it over the years, never worked out tho, then he sold it while I was out of state .. but hey, shit came up I guess, cool to see it on the road again. And I lookforward to what kinda bits you make. If you start thinking about making oilpans, let me know BEFORE you get to far into it.

I hope it's okay if I drop this here: http://community.ratsun.net/topic/4656-my-72-1200/ .
It looks like you were the last poster but I thought maybe some of the others might be interested in the background. Car history is cool.

Your wheel ejection location looks like exit 209 on I5?

Is that right?

its the Z5 casting from Mazda out of the 96 1.5 ltr Protege. they came in dual cam pulley and single. The parts company sold my dual cam pulley version and brought this to me :(

So I am going with it.

Someone stole the fucking A15 out of my car port at the old house. Swung by to get it today. Fucker was gone.

The chambers and pistons line up perfectly. I just have to plug the old Oil Drains and figure out where to mod the head for new ones.

Sorry to hear about the engine growing legs :(

Some of my tools took a walk when the renters across the street moved away.
