Re: Bratmobile aka slick willy

...start putting it back together and look at that, this piece doesn't fit. I'm sure you'll get it, with a little patience. On my carb rebuild I used emery paper on a piece of glass to get the gasket surfaces flat, things got wonky over time. I also had to helicoil a few holes that were stripped. I ...

Re: The forgotten Beige 69 510 build - NWD edition

That's a serious upgrade, right there.

I don't know about the "looks", but I would like to know what's the "performance" upgrade like? Current drawn and light projected, compared to stock - or old school halogen upgrades?

Re: A Bamboo Goon

Look to upside down land ebay to grab a right mirror, they have repros there. That's a great idea. Downunder, South Africa, the UK and of course Japan would be good places to look, but cars don't last as long on an island as they do on a continent. If you have a nice looking car then re-pops would ...

I cracked up when I saw them, becaue I had the same mismatched screws holding the old mirror on. The ones you sent were not rusty like mine, so I went with them. Maybe I'll see if I can get a matching set, but function over form ... right?

This is the common tank to swap into the C10's, it is nothing more than a stock tank from a 69-72 Blazer. Read multiple times how good these tank work and how well they fit under the truck. WTF ... when I came here to check your latest posting, I wasn't expecting this. :x https ...
