So sick!! How'd you lower it?
If you don't look at your car everytime you walk away from it, you bought the wrong car.

Damnit! had a post all ready to go, but I had to login AGAIN before the post. And now its gone...
where is the auto save feature?
Cody -- Its lowered on 720 4x4 leafs with 4" blocks out back and reindexed torsion bars up front. no bump stops.
Ive done quite a bit to it. I slapped in a L20 w/219 head and weber carb (hidden under the stock air cleaner) and matchbox dizy mated with a 5spd steel synchro wide ratio tranny. 3.889 rear gear set, 520 metal dash top w/o ash tray mated to the 521 lower dash. custom carpet kit, radio delete plate, one peice driveshaft, S/C xterra wheels, ect. ect.... The most recent upgrade is a Intermittent wiper switch out of a ford and a SUPER fast wiper motor out of a ford.
should i copy and paste my build thread from the other forum here or ???

Copy everything before you do anything, I learned that on Ratsun before the server change a year and a half ago, I even copied everything before I tried posting, in case it lost it, which did happen a lot back then.

Re: My Daily Brownie
weber air cleaner mod version 1.0
it fits
made it for the L16 and doesn't fit my L20. Jrock is currently running it...
Version 2.0 caketop
Now, ofcourse i started this with no planning. Before i started welding, I looked at a loose air filter and took it to the truck... no fit around the auto choke and the fuel inlet... gave up that night and continued a few days later.
I don't run a choke with this setup...

My Intermittent wiper switch and wiper motor upgrade R&D..
This is the switch and delay box setup.
ground off the old threads and put new threads that match the datto.
new switch installed mounted with beauty ring.
cut shaft to proper length drill and tap new hole for setscrew.
Also fixed jrocks and mine squitter motors and cleaned the Roo bags...
Ford wiper motor.
modified arms.
And a comparison video. Jrocks stock setup next to mine...

Flatcat -- The switch/delaybox option is available in 1980-1983: F-100 and 1980-1991: F-150/F-250/F-350 / U-150 Bronco (these things are EVERYWHERE) or 1980-1999: F-600/F-900 (good luck).
The wiper motor that I used is from a 89-90 ford Thunderbird. But, this same style motor comes in the same and other year Crown Victoria s and thunderbirds and I think other cars. I havent researched this yet. When looking this up the same basic motor is used, but the connectors are in different positions, but use same style plug (I had to remove a plug on the thunderbird motor to make it fit anyway). If this mod sparks interest in more people, I will research this further...
And the reason for me using the ford wiper motor: Datsun uses Grounded switching and ford is switched positives. I first installed the switch/delay box with the stock datsun wiper motor and it worked. But, not when I bolted in, it blew the fuse. So, instead of fucking around with that, I decided to find a motor that will have switched positives and bolt in...
Anyways... Last week I was having a pretty good saturday. I went to vatozone and got rubbing and polishing compound. And on the way out some dude starts talking to me about my truck (nothing out the ordinary). Turns out he was a Datsun mechanic in the 70s to early 80s. And he is part owner of a smoothie joint in the same parking lot/mini strip mall area. And I end up getting a free PB&J smoothie (Delicious BTW) as we talk dattos. He actually wants to have a datsun meet in his parking lot. And im going to be calling him in a couple weeks to see whats in his mystery boxes of Datsun goodness from back in the day...
Got home and I started on waxing my truck.

Well, a good saturday until I head over to a friends house to watch the Sounders and SHPOOF! big pressure release sound and alt light comes on. Smell of coolent and a loud screeching noise, but still have power... turn it off and coast as far as I can. Get towed to friends house...watched the sounders fucking lose and got drunk. So, the next day I started on a hangover and went golfing for the first time in three years and it was hot... Its great teeing off with no practice and a hangover! It went WAY right. Great start. had more beers. shot a 55 in 9 holes...
Is this pulley angle right?..
how bout dis? my water pump is in two pieces. thats normal right?
got a water pump after telling the guy his computer was wrong and Ill be back if it was right... I was right. I fix. Its all good.
