yea man cars are good therapy for anything, doesn't matter if im working on them, driving them or just looking at them Its always awesome!

510 is on jackstands now, awaiting the fuel lines ive already bent up the new 5/16 fuel lines. also working on putting z crossmember up under it, hopefully ill be getting some more sheet metal next week to finis the floor boards.

went out and got some more sheet metal and gas for the welder to finish the floors, get a few spots tacked in and start to weld them in and the wire runs out.

picked up some battery wire to relocate the battery, terminal ends, a new slave cylinder, 5/16 fuel hose, and some new bolts for the drive shaft. finally getting some shit done.

got the drive shaft, clutch master and slave in, put the fuel lines in now to finish the fuel tank. i would take pics but my camera crapped out on me, it seems all my electronics have decided to take a shit on me this month..

started pulling shit back apart... i cant leave stuff alone, the original speedo was broke.






510 speed gauge compared to 240s



240 cluster apart.







240 gauge face didn't fit well at all..



so i took the 510 gauge face and notched the screw holes a little.



240 speedo inside mounted to 510 gauge face.







the 240 needle hit the 510 gauge housing, needles compared.



with 510 needle.



its sitting a little sideways because it hits where the screw goes in, ill hit it with the dremel later.

thanks! hopefully tomorrow ill have some time to grind that little bit out and wire the speedo up. then I have to figure out how to hold it in, the old gauge was bolted to the backing of the cluster.

yesterday I ground the screw tower that was blocking the speedo from sitting straight, now it sits flush and straight like its supposed to and you cant tell its been messed with besides the odometer not being there.

piece that needed grinding.



no brackets needed to hold it either it sits snug and holds its self.



now ive got to figure out where to put this, ill have to extend the wires and put it some where in the dash.



also fixed the reverse lights so they worked on the 240 trans, next ill wire up the 240 speedo should be fairly simple.

finally got around to bending up the sheet metal for part of the floor patch, its not the best but all i had to bend it was the 2x4's in the wall and a hammer.





ignore the mess of wires not done under the dash yet got to get a soldering gun lol.

motor mounts came in today! got trans cross member made, all thats left to actually drive it is fuel pump. ive got so many boners now! lol

i was so happy to see this on my porch this afternoon.

trans crossmember in, the long bolt is in there for getting everything lined up i couldnt find another bolt that would fit lol.



out for paint and awaiting bolts.

put in the clutch line last night and almost finished patching all of the passenger side floor board.

thsi is some of what i cut out, well half way cut out...
