Thats how i do my IR swaps, too. But i throw a ziptie on there also.

Except when its a round plug :| Then I pull the wires off the back of regulator and butt connect them and wrap in tape, put them away so it looks clean. This way the plug stays if i ever need to go back.

Not to much to update here!

Went on a short trip to Hermiston to picked up a door for Jamee's B210.
That went great! I ended up driving two hours longer then i needed just because I wanted to.
For me Hermiston is 45 minutes.

Oics!

I saw that orange 620 when I was there too.
There was also like 5 720s on the way back to the freeway and a couple of old(pre-72) Mercedes as well.

Thought I'd do some cleaning on the KA head.
so I tore it down and put it in the parts washer.

Now that most everything is off the head what are some things I don't really need to put back on?
I haven't looked this up yep. Guess I'll do that ha!

oics just cuz.

Gotta get this out.

Huh?
Every part of the head itself you need. Nothing you'll want gone.

Are those broken studs you're pointing at? No problem with those.

It is an emission head, it's called a naps Z head, it stands for "nissan anti performance system".

It's all needed as far as I know, it's a great engine, just re-torque the head bolts every tune-up and enjoy, want more, install something else like a KA.
It's a smog engine, as far as I know, there really isn't much that can be done with it, that is why you don't see any naps Z builds.

That is a KA, Wayno.

I'll find the emissions delete thread.
All the stuff to be deleted is on the intake manifold.

   I read so many things that I get confused, I was looking at it, and it looked like a naps Z head, so I assumed.

I may have found a thread about it that I've seen on a few different sites now.

This helps. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/15026 ... s-removal/

Photos aren't in the threads if looked at so far but that's OK, if you can find some other threads that would be cool.
I'll still be looking of course
