When I bought the car it had an L20b with a dogleg 5spd, a Weber down draft, 280zx struts, and some big flashy Enkei wheels. Here it is on my way to my first Canby a few months after acquiring it.

More to come...

Sorry, I was channeling my inner flatcat.
Oh I lurk like it should be illegal. I've seen people with my experience prob more attempt swaps and not finish. My ultimate goal is to build a VG34. However I still have tons of research and tons of learning. As of now the plans are build an engine, most likely an L20b or LZ22/23 with bike carbs and get the suspension and brakes to be tits. Then find a clean shell to paint and swap everything. Then prob a VG and caller her done. Good 'nough?kylezone wrote:your thinkin vg swap eh? as cool as they are, i wouldnt recommend it if your still just learning on this car. its not a very easy swap (lots of cutting/fab work), and theirs alot of other engines that would be super easy/ give you more than enough power.
that said, congrats! looks great!! what are your plans for it?

I can ask. His plan was to put them on his turbo Z, but he's self employed and has two kids, so who knows if he'll ever get around to it.Eagle_Adam wrote:does he wanna sell em?
