Re: the mine now coupe.
Pulled my axles, passenger side was stock bearing, seal was blowing oio inot the drum but the bearing looked great, driver side, was a timkin sealed bearing, wheel seal was good bearing was toast. Lol. Brakes are at there max also, but its all on order, eta tomaro at 2.
The fsm always says just smach the retainer with a chisel and it will fall apart, allways end up cutting it most of the way then pounding it.
Got my driveline in, should have it balanced as I made it out of 3 drivelines to get my shorter length and splines.
Installed my spacer and h150 diff. And my osolaters for the trans mount.

Yeah. I could hold it up with my hand, not much weight on it. But better over built than under built.. that being said the steelyard isnt open Saturdays anymore, so I had to dig thru the scrap pile. And weigh my options. Luckily my scrap pioe is immense

Re: the mine now coupe.
Adam:
I am guessing that it is the rear wheel/axle bearings you are having trouble finding, They cross over to a SKF GRW115R
inside Diameter: 30 mm,1.1811 in
Outside Diameter: 62 mm,2.4409 in IS THIS RIGHT??
I ordered 2 bearing retainers that hold the axle bearing in place- they come in tomorrow.
Found company in California that has SKF GRW115R on the shelf, even though they have been discontinued, and are listed as Obsolete. If these dimensions above are correct, I need you to please verify so I can ordered them tomorrow.
Were you able to contact ZTHerapy and did they have what you needed?

Re: the mine now coupe.
I cannot confirm those numbers at this time... I cut my old bearings into little peices. But im going to grab an axle from my brotheres house and remove it complete., it if fits my houseing that is.
I have 2 emails out to z therapist but no reply yet, I will call them tomaro, its a day off for me, my schedule is conflicting with theres on my work days.
But I did find out pre 71 cars have needle #m76, so I have been searching for profiles of different needles to kinda see what wouod work in a pinch.... dont think my current m66 needles would work verry well. Lol
Did do a few things to get something done at least, Started adjusting my wire harness for the alt, wich I had fergot I still had to do, found my alt ground wire to the regulator was fried pretty good!
melted a few other wires alittle of course.
Made my su block off plates. Wich I had fergot about, I cutt them and ground them a week ago, but they got hot and burned me so I threw em jn the sink and fergot all about it.
Done now.
I may try to find a b210 radiator as well, the b310 one I have doesnt fit nearly as good as I remember.... also fergot to swap my a14 fan spacer for the shorter a 12 one. Looks like I should.
Need to cut just a little tiny bit of the tunnel for the shifter to have enough clearence for my likeing. But not much at all, if I do it right the rubber boot should still fit perfect.
I could do the seats I guess, but being on the lift makes that harder, cant fully open the doors.

I have a stripped down 1200 axle housing, measured housing ID, at axle bearing 2.44"bearing OD. would you post what axle diameter is at bearing and retaining collar position, on the axle -to give us bearing ID. Thanks'

Re: the mine now coupe.
My axle housing miced out at 62mm, the axle at 32. I went to 3 places who all told me there are none in the world.Morrisun » Thu Jul 17, 2014 5:51 am wrote:I have a stripped down 1200 axle housing, measured housing ID, at axle bearing 2.44"bearing OD. would you post what axle diameter is at bearing and retaining collar position, on the axle -to give us bearing ID. But its basicly a 6206 bearing, wich has a 30mm id, so I wouod have to have my axles turned down to 30mm and then find a corresponding retainer.

Re: the mine now coupe.
OK, I found bearings in California, having them shipped tomorrow SIZE: 32mm X 62mm X 16mm
These are NOT cheap- but things no longer made rarely are! I hope you found the right parts, as you can not turn axles down at the bearing surface as they harden with industrial chrome. I tried that route and abandoned it after the machine shop estimate was over $450.00 Bearing retainers came in today, 32mm id.
