DUDE, Hate to break the bad news to you, but a U67 head will NOT fit on a VG30. It looks like it might have too many valves and a timing chain cavity.Jester » December 20th, 2014, 11:21 pm wrote:Been working on the truck though. Been cleaning ports on a U67. It's in the machine shop right now getting new guides and a valve job. Also putting in a Oregon Cam Grindings regrind. .465 Lift @ 260* Duration. Should be a lot of fun.

Ya, I wanted a "built" L motor for a long time too. Skipped that step though, I bet I never own another L motor now though. Well, I guess I might, but only to make it run properly to sell it. I next time comes around, I might even skip the VG and go bigger.Jester » December 23rd, 2014, 1:33 pm wrote:It WILL end up with a VG at some point. Plus I have ALWAYS wanted a L series with a nice cam and some good shit to accent it.
