1985 Nissan 720 parts

#1

Post by wayno »

I am going to be parting out a 1985 Nissan 720 cab and box, I am keeping the frame, engine, drivetrain, column/wheel, and wiring harness.
I don't need any of the cab or box, from the windshield forward is wasted, the doors back are good/fair, depending on what it is, the box is not that bad, passenger side fender well has a ripple, and a couple small dents, but it's not terrible, it also has a bed liner, it is a short box.
The doors, pass side has a couple small dents, driver side is good.
Here are some photos of it, contact me if your interested in anything.

It looks good, but when I sit in it I sink a long way down, but it looks good.

I am keeping the column, it's going in the new cab, wiring harness, everything electrical is going in a 1970 521 cab.

I still have the doors, the box liner, but in a few days it will all be gone.

We need to talk about how you lower a 720 truck, you have to re-index the torsion bars if you really want to be low like you were.
If you were to come over while the frame is bare, I can show you every step for your next 720, it's easy to explain when I can just point.

Well, all the sheet metal is gone now, I did keep the seat, I figured out what was wrong with it, and can likely fix the issue.

I actually do want to learn how. I know the basic idea of how, but not how to actually do it, so that'd be sweet Wayno, thanks!

I am going to be working on the frame this weekend, once it is back to stock configuration, I will be dropping a cab onto it, maybe Sunday for that.
I might go up to Tacoma Saturday to pick up some parts.
Do you still have my number, call me if you want to come over.

i like that curved shifter. Mine is straight up and down. It works great in the short cabs, kinda sucks in the king cabs lol. Gotta reach sometimes cuz i have the seat back.
