So I was cleaning out the toolbox today and found a box with some kind of tool set in it, I don't think it's a slide hammer because I can pull the sliding part off the end that isn't threaded, it has several different pieces that thread onto the other end, what do you think it is for?
Image
I also found a couple fittings that might be for brake line repair, but I don't recall seeing anything like them before, anyone know what these are for?

I am not motivated at all lately to do much of anything, ever since it got hot outside(above ninety), all I want to do is stay inside and turn on the AC.

Not sure what the fittings are all about but the tool looks like a clutch alignment set.
When the only tool you have is a hammer every problem starts to look like a hippy.

That could be it, different ends for different size pilot bushings.

I had a tooth pulled today, I have had 4 other teeth pulled, this 5th one was brutal, there was a point when the dentist had to stop because I could not take it anymore.

Thanks but no thanks. :(
It was awful even with 3 shots of Novocaine, I seriously thought that my jaw bone might break at one point, it wasn't the side that they were working on that hurt, it was the side that was not numb.
BTW it was only $107.00 to extract the tooth, to save it would have cost me more than $2000.00, a bridge will cost me less if I choose to go that route, I am just going to see how well I can eat once it heals, if my food gets chewed, then I don't care, I can live without that tooth, it's been causing me issues for a long time, I have complained for years about that tooth, I could hardly get dental floss between the teeth touching that tooth in the front or back of it, sometimes the floss would break off in between them teeth, and it would take days to get it out, but they say that they could do nothing about that.
Funny thing about dentists, they put a cap on a tooth, and when you tell them it hits, they seem to not believe you until it breaks another capped tooth below it, then shit gets taken care of.
She is just about the best dentist I have had for the price, sure I could go somewhere else for double the price................

Few beers and a pair of locking pliers and we could have had you taken care of...
But really that sounds shitty!

I bought all these shelves for $30.00, there are seven of them plus some extra shelves.

I also got this cheap table saw table as part of the deal, I am not impressed with the particle board top though, I have no idea what I will use this stand/table for, but I will put it together just because it is something to do and I just like doing stuff like that.
Image
Here it is put together, what's amazing is that all the parts were there, the box was wide open with parts laying on the ground out in the street, I picked the parts up off the ground and every screw was there.
Image
My parts room is going to be better organized in the near future.

As most of you on here know, I pressure wash for a living, so a month ago I started losing pressure in my pump, I tried to fix it replacing all the normal wear parts, I even changed the bypass and it changed nothing, so I took it into Landa and asked them to see if the packings were going bad, even though I had no water in the oil of the pump.
They didn't get back to me, so I called them as I was heading over there for a couple parts, well they had not gotten to it yet, but I needed them parts anyway so I went over and bought them.
I got a call the next day I believe and was told that the head was cracked, and it would cost $695.00 to fix it, well I told them I could buy a whole pump new for less, all I got from that statement was stunned silence, I finally told the guy to pack it up in a box and I would come over and pay for the dis-assembly charge that I did know about, when I got there the salesman said no charge, I looked at him and said no way, I knew about the charge when I left it there, well I just bought a few more parts and left, I don't feel so bad since I bought some parts from them which I don't do a lot anymore because I can get them for less online.
So I looked at the head and thought that maybe I could see a couple small hairline cracks, but I had another pump out back that thru a rod when the plastic fluid level window fell out while it was running and puked all the oil out, looking at these parts I realized that there isn't much to these pumps, and I will now start doing the work myself on them also, they are really quite simple, don't know why I was scared to work on them before, I put the used head on it after I looked for cracks and found none, I have not tested it, I will put it on when I lose another pump, to much work to install it just to test it.
So today I received 2 brand new pumps from the place I bought them, I checked ebay, and found nothing for less than $650.00 plus shipping, I paid $878.00 shipped for 2 of them, and Landa wanted even more for just one pump than I paid for the two, but they do install it for free.

That does look pretty simple.

I am about to partake in some rebuilding of things myself. New thread coming up.... Not sure what part of the forum yet, maybe under General discussion... Maybe under the Tech section

I add a few more strings every day, it looks different now, but my camera doesn't focus good at night.
