Nice.

I wish it would be winter here too. 70° yesterday, forecast of 40° tomorrow. This is why people here don’t put summer clothes away for the winter.

I just got back from a very short motorcycle ride. 36 degrees.

I don't like really cold weather anymore, but I don't like 30 something days over 90 degrees either.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to have to work outside all day in it but I don't really mind it for day to day activity. I'll take my cold and dry over the valley's slightly less cold and wet.

Progress on the wall continues. The first photo I posted above is about half the length. Then it jogs toward the driveway and goes another 60-70 feet to the south. They started the prep for the second half and ran out of gravel for the base. No work yesterday due to wind.
That same wind also removed about half the ridge cap from my roof and scattered it around my front courtyard. Roofers are coming out this morning to fix it.

The wind has been brutal for the last 2 days. It took everything on my deck, including the BBQ, and blew it in a pile in the NE corner. It's also tumbleweed season.

Woke up this morning, completely calm. I have a bunch of burning to do so hopefully it'll be calm tomorrow. Other plans for today.

Just discovered that one of my water heaters keeps tripping the breaker so electrician is coming out to take a look at that on Monday. I have 2 80 gallon heaters in series so I pretty much can't run out of hot water. It is the first one in line with the problem so I only discovered it when I was in the breaker panel for a different reason.

The wind blew part of my fence over last night also.

Roofers have already come and gone. Should be all better now...until the next big wind.

Still undetermined. I have to maintain a 2:1 slope of the soil above it when it's done. To this day I still don't know what it's going to cost either. I hate this wall.

I thought Idahoans would love building that wall.

Wind sucks. I was in Baker City, OR last week when they closed 84W due to wind.
Had to stay overnight until that died down.

Took a break from my brother's '36 and ran into town to meet a guy. Bought an NOS air cleaner because the one on my bike has a rust pucker starting to form. Since those never heal themselves, I snagged this for later. Turns out the seller was the liquidator for Indian when they closed the factory in 2003. He has 2 trailers full of other parts. It's good to know a guy.

$200. Came from a Costco tire center, they got new equipment. My old boss grabbed it for me because I told him I was looking. Now I just need a tire machine to go with it.
