Well I said Eff it, and drug everything outside. I never said I was a pro at this. Lol. The new owner will be getting paint this year, the epoxy is just to keep it safe until then.
So I guess 3 and 4 switched places...
I'll give the panels a couple days to cure (covered), before I fit them.
That'll give me some time to figure out this MAF issue. Didn't I already did this, Wtf?

I'm getting ready to move back up North to Bellingham. I'm downsizing a ton...
The panels definitely dont look as good as they could. Very runny on the first two doors I painted. They almost look like they had a munch of grease on them. But they were cleaned thoroughly with was and grease remover, so.... maybe grease in the gun? Idk. I'm gonna spray another coat here in a bit. I didn't clean the gun when I was done yesterday, so hopefully it's still usable after I run a bunch of lacquer thinner through it.

I work with you good buddy Christian.
I dont know how I hung the doors on my car by myself. I think I just latched them in, and then got the bolts started from the inside.
The hood makes it look like you are a ricer trying to "vent" the back of your engine bay.

I did hang the replacement driver door on my own a while back, with the fender off and the latch latched it's not too bad.

I think the "proper" way to align doors is to remove the latch catcher on the pillar and use shims on the bottom of the door till everything lines up. It's not impossible by yourself, now that they are hung already.

Arggghhhh! Still with the MAF...
It's official, I'm making a separate MAF loom with a plug connection at either end
Besides that I got all the glass in and tied up some loose ends today. I have like 18 hours to make it presentable.

He's already out there on the streets with it.
I got close enough to asking so I'm good with it.
I'll have another 510 one day. It's the first car I remember helping my dad fix. I specifically remember going to the auto parts store for a thermostat (that was hard to find for some reason?)
Btw, that was a 100% restoration, including engine and trans rebuild, interior, and beautiful paint. '70 2 door coupe, sold to my grandpa in 1998 for $5,000. I'd sell both my feet for that deal today.
