SU carb set with manifold

Post by HRH »

$500 bones. Completely went through this HS6 SU carb set a while back for the other motor for Wynona, ended up going with a different engine entirely. Took these carbs apart completely. They do not have the original needles. I have a bunch of needles for them, I can't remember which versions. Throttle shafts are tight, butterflies fit beautifully. Very nice set of carbs with KN filters on them already. The filter plates were a little hokey, had to modify some MG plates to make something work for space issues. Regardless, they work just fine.

Would prefer local pickup, shipping these is a bit of a pain. But, if you want them, I'm sure I can find a big enough box. They come with the wrapped fuel line to prevent boiling fuel.

Interesting if I owned a Datsun.

Perhaps you should get one. Except the Jay Leno effect has made them unattainable now. Unless you want super rusty or super good.
