Yea the motor is in. Started up real easy like too.
Why is the motor back in? I dont know, Im indifferent about it. It has been resting in the engine bay for a few weeks now. Just not bolted to anything. But we are getting a new water heater today. So the best way to make a path for the plumber was to simply pull the car out of the garage.

No, because money going to be spent on ca, is going to be spent getting the car back to how it was.

Re: Jacobs goon build
Its on hold til I figure out my money. My mom f'ed up my taxes, so now I am paying. Also gotta get catch back up on student loans. But I am thinking it will see the road again before Christmas.
I miss the car alot. The saturn is just not as nice to drive. It has a horrible dive in, it likes to loose traction from stops with all 100 torques it has. And I hurt after driving it for too long. Somehow the audio quality isnt as nice as the Goon either, Im chalking that up to the OEM speakers in the front. Also the headlights leave a lot to be desired.

Re: Jacobs goon build
Depending on the size I might have a set of pioneer speakers for your fronts if you want them. Lol I've been hangin onto them for way too long, they're 4" or whatever that size is they put below the dash in cars

6.5" No worries. If I care too much Ill just buy some Infinitys for $50 on Amazon. I just installed some in my friends sentra, and they are so crystal clear and loud.

Re: Jacobs goon build
See the road again before Christmas? That would be if things aligned, and also if Christmas didnt mean gifts. Good news is, my mom and sister are feeling poor too so price of the gifts isnt as high (yes its all about how thoughtfulness, but you cant be stingy too). Eh probably not on the road by Christmas...
Um Sitrep. Taxes are paid off. Student loans, well is odd. They switched my loan provider early september. As of today I am current with the new provider. I need to figure out the dealio with the old one. That said, depending on how big my next 2 paychecks are, I might be fully current on everything. But then I will have my normal payment again in the end of november...
So back to my regular money flow? December. With the exceptions of Christmas costing me money (As well as a camping trip with some friends, I still have vacation time!)
I JUST WANT TO DRIVE MY CAR AGAIN!!!

Re: Jacobs goon build
At the junkyard, saw a AW11... Seats were still in it... It was 50% off weekend... $37 for 2 seats! Just one small hole on the drivers seat.
Yes I have MR2 seats already, in Pleather, and both have terrible tears. I have never even seen a picture of my seats in a MR2, so I think they are quite rare. Anyways, not sure of my intentions. I might ride around for awhile on these new ones since they are in better shape. But I like the look of the black vinyl seats, so I will be going back.

It'll be good to see this back on the road. 4 MR2 seats and a front-to-back console -- GT wagon style?
