Plastigages are good shit. There are more precise ways to measure shit, but these work good.

BTW Derek. I did get the plastigage like I said I would. Then I went to Adams. And now I work Tuesday (Tomorrow), so Ill check the bearings tuesday night.
And no, Plastigage is not the most precise, but it gives you a really good idea on whats going on. Just need to make sure he doesnt need to find a new crank/have this crank undersized...
Hmm, could you do a .5mm Under sizing, but have the shop shave the rod journals on the inside, effectively increasing the stroke? Definitely not worth it really...

Went out to the garage. Turn the motor on its side. Someone has removed all the rod caps, and in doing so and trading the block away, has let all the rod caps to come off... So I decided to remove all the pistons...
THERE IS WHAT APPEARS TO BE ANTISIEZE ON EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!! really thick too. Smeared across the block head, the timing chain gear, all the bearing races, the bores. Holy crap.
I then decided I didnt want to deal with getting dirty today.
I think the plan of action will be to pull the crank, and clean up everything. And then I can take measurements. I hate working on dirty things.

Hmm I may have to see the process in person. I'm considering an Lz for my new motor.

Not much to it besides standard motor building.
The LZ part just means you gotta double check your math to make sure it will work out. But following the Jason Grey info works pretty well.
I can definitely try to coordinate with Derek and you to have you both over at the same time.
