As of this moment, pretty much everything is packed. About to move it all into storage and make my truck into my new home :|

Truck got my entire house moved with no problems. Fuck yeah! I packed that bitch full. My job box and such were super heavy. I made that fucker squat. Didn't miss a beat.

I've noticed it pings... Even with no load in it, it pings up hills, and when under a load, like getting up to speed. Still need to check the timing. I think it may be advanced a smidge? Anyone chime in on this? There is no valve train noise. Draker said he checked the valves, and they were spot on. So I do believe they are.. Again no valve train noise, just a ping. I run regular gas in it, i try and use chevron gas only but.... I am surrounded by 4 shell stations with one chevron that's in a spot that's just a pain in the ass to goto just to get gas....

I never noticed it ping, but it was a flat ground runner. Maybe check that timing again.. my gun may have been off.. or the dizzy may have moved? who knows.

I do know it was off when I got it though, pulled the oil pump and realigned that bitch. Anyway, worth a double take. Maybe it was spot on and I f'd it up? lulz..

Maybe.

I wonder if things were getting out of whack from tuning it/timing it with that vacuum leak? Hard call. Guess throwing a timing light on it is free so won't hurt to check it. Can timing lights even be off? Do you remember what you set it at?

These gotta be at around 5 degrees. where as L series are around 10-12

I don't remember, but timing it with the vacuum leak is likely the issue.

My timing light can be off because it has an offset dial.. lulz. Anyway, my money is on the vacuum leak. I timed it to whatever I read on the interwebz.

Front right tire gave up the ghost today.

Time to throw the stockers back on. will get on that tomorrow... Pics of what it done did then. Felt a wobble... Got out and looked and it has a bubble in it, like it was super bald and bubbled out, but its not bald lol.

Says on the side its a 2 ply. Guessing that means its not very strong on the inside.

This will fuck your shit up! Made the truck wobble bad. Good thing I got these tires free. Out nothing, but time and effort swapping wheels.
