New World Datsuns...

It looks like I've gotta wait tell the 26th or 27th for my truck.
We weren't able to fit all our stuff the first trip if we backed the truck. Knowing I needed to go back for the iguana, snakes and other animals this was the easiest way. That way I can get the parts I need '521 radiator, motor mount, shims'. I have that stuff soon. Then once I get the truck here I'll get the shit in and drive on down to an exhaust shop and alignment shop.

Bingo bango! My DD is back........ in two fucking weeks..
Think I've got a good paying job, I'll find out more tomorrow..
Oh drove around town dropping off some resumes. Guess I passed Jrocks shop. Didn't have time to stop and chat or fap on his truck but damn, that thing is sweet!!!

Sucks big time not having my truck or working on a datsun.

Today I touched my truck!
Loaded up most all my stuff from the garage in the back of the 521. Got in the tri cities, got home, started the truck.. it took holding the chokes up for a minute or so of course but shit sounded GREAT! I took a video but it doesn't wanna upload.
I'll be getting the truck in the trailer tomorrow I'll take a picture then. I was able to pick up a 521 radiator, motor mounts, nice fan for a fan clutch then realized I wasn't using a clutch fan, so I need a four blade fan. I'll pick that up once I get back to olympia.

That big box.. datsun parts.. The bed is full. Datsun stuff.

How ever!! I had to stop unpacking because I dropped an a87 peanut on my leg, lower down near the foot and shin.
As I was setting it up on the shelf that's about 6 feet high it somehow slipped from the cardboard it was on, tapped a little piece of wood that sent it to my leg after I had moved it so it wouldn't hit me, it hits me then dents the ground..

I like it! I'm going to have to watch my driving around here tho. There's like moss on the roads or something that makes them way slick. Or my pathys tires are just to used. It would fail the quarter forsure.
The tires on the 521 are better tread wise buuut.. that thing gets loss going around a round about to fast. Ha. Haven't drove master chief '521' here yet. I've gotta fix the angel of the drive line with some 4° shims. So I've gotta get them. And put my other radiator in.. maybe change the exhaust a little just so it's not so close to the ground.. I'll be taking it to a shop once I can.

Also my foot/leg isn't to bad today.
Odd thing is it looked more bruised last night then it does now..

Been here my whole life and haven't had any issues in the PNW with sliding around unless I meant to. even with bald tires. (And yes, some of them were very fast )

having driven on bald tires a lot, even in the snow, you figure it out. Its entirely possible to do.

I love driving!! I drive for fun Al the time, flatcats right... kinda. Unless Lexi is in the car it's a matter of telling my self to slow down. And I have a lot really the, 300+$ ticket did help. That and I wouldn't rather not get in an accident..

I picked up some 4° shims yesterday.. I think I have a rear transmission seal but I don't have an old one to see the part number. . I'm sure all 720 trans have the same seal but I'd like to know part number. ANYONE?

Need to get to a store around here with some redline gear oil too.
