chatted to a fellow in Ashland Oregon yesterday. Hoping the wagon will be heading to it's new home next month. A deposit this weekend will confirm that.
if so, I'll be driving it to Springfield Or Sept the 2nd.
I've emailed him twice and I'm not getting a respond back so I'm calling him today to confirm if he flaked or not flaked.levigideon » Wed Aug 12, 2015 12:02 am wrote:If your other buyer in Oregon flakes... so do you just want to use it or purchase it ? First with the cash can take it home.
That's a pretty sad story. Who knows what all is messed up on that thing? The seller certain wouldn't have a clueDRIVEN wrote:Have you ever read an ad where the seller sounds so fucking stupid that you're tempted to commit multiple felonies just to save the car?
Aw. I'm both glad I didn't bother and sad to hear of its condition.draker » Sat Aug 22, 2015 11:43 am wrote:You don't want that 1200. It's been for sale for a while. Actually I know a guys that bought it, brought it home. Looked it over and he put his hand through the frame rail just by touching it. So he returned it to the owner.
It's a bucket.. the guy who bought it restores cars for a living and wanted nothing to do with this one.
Instead he bought a 65 mini.
This is for an a series. I know who is selling it. Ad is targeted towards mg guys. They pay high dollar for these. This was to see if he got any bites. More realistic number is like $500. If it was on ebay I could see it going above $1000.
