I've emailed him twice and I'm not getting a respond back so I'm calling him today to confirm if he flaked or not flaked.

so do you just want to use it or purchase it ? First with the cash can take it home. :fyea:

Have you ever read an ad where the seller sounds so fucking stupid that you're tempted to commit multiple felonies just to save the car?

That's a pretty sad story. Who knows what all is messed up on that thing? The seller certain wouldn't have a clue

First item belongs in the second item. Both prices a bit (a lot) on the high side.

You don't want that 1200. It's been for sale for a while. Actually I know a guys that bought it, brought it home. Looked it over and he put his hand through the frame rail just by touching it. So he returned it to the owner.

It's a bucket.. the guy who bought it restores cars for a living and wanted nothing to do with this one.

Instead he bought a 65 mini.

Aw. I'm both glad I didn't bother and sad to hear of its condition.

This is for an a series. I know who is selling it. Ad is targeted towards mg guys. They pay high dollar for these. This was to see if he got any bites. More realistic number is like $500. If it was on ebay I could see it going above $1000.

That's a dogleg, the MG guys want the normal type 5 speeds in the late 210s as far as I know, although they are getting so hard to find that they will use a dogleg if they have to.
The A series 5 speed transmissions are getting so hard to find, that they are using ford T9 transmissions now, there is a kit for that one now.

I don't know for sure, but I think the seller has been trying to sell this for a while. I pops up from time to time, and within the last year it got panted.
