Mmk. The sliders on these new ones are in great shape and function well. The paint is still glossy. Considering my car already has mr2 sliders, I don't need 2 pairs.

and yes, my friend already told me to do quad buckets...

I gotta make a few trips to your area over the next week with home skillet still in the hospital. I'll let you know when I go that way and maybe we can meet up. I still got your carb in a box  I should bring that back some day.

So I did some random stuff today, mostly making it so I could walk in my garage. So that is one of my Riken mesh wheels that I will be using until I can get my weds back on the car.

And then I cut the good part off my fender, and threw the other half in the garbage.

And then a pic of my bent eyebrow peice.

So today I did some stuff with the car.

I wanted to run the motor, let it get warmed up, idle for awhile, blah blah blah. It hasnt ran for more than 45 seconds since the crash.

So I needed to mount the radiator, but I had lost the hardware... Off to Home Depot... Anyways got the radiator bolted in. Connected all the hoses, and filled it with water. Turned the car on, and just kept filling until the thermostat opened. Then I shut the car off and drained the water. It was mostly clean, a little red, but still clear.

I was doing some research on coolants, since everyone manufacturer makes their own now, something had of changed since the days of the green stuff... Well basically, keep using the green stuff, or change to G-05. I get bored, so I switched to G-05. Its clear in color, and thats odd...

Anyways, Down pipe is still only connected to manifold with 1 nut, but the manifold has all 3 studs. Minor exhaust leak there. Something on the exhaust is rattling. And I really need to do a valve adjust.

Other than that, man this car just fired right up, and instantly revs. I miss it so much.

Then I tried a compact battery my friend gave me. Since the car was warm it was easy to start. Well the battery just barely started the car, but thats to be expected when its under 12v... I let it run for like a half hour charging.

Car still warming up

Idling at 750-800

Finally the Thermostat opens!

Coolant I am now using... It says Older Jap cars right on it! Must be true...

Tiny batter is tiny

I still have the old battery cable ends, but I figured out how to get it to work.

Painting the gauges white made them 100x easier to see. Then I did a custom LED setup. Those LEDs are actually dimmed a decent amount. It can get a bit glaring.

But none of that is staying...

Body shop appointment?

Erm, This Saturday possible, or Next... I has money, need them to have time, and my co workers truck to be working again...

And no, not the 194 LEDs. Custom... I cant do LEDs like other people, it hurts me...

As seen in this pic, I have 4 bare LEDs making a ring around the gauges. They are actually hot glued in, and pointed directly at the gauge faces. This picture is a little contrasty, or I have the LEDs at full brightness making it real hot spotty.

+1 on the ingenuity of hooking up your battery.

Did that Odyssey start better after some charging?
