I had left my heater core soaked in CLR over night. My car had ridiculous heat.

Thanks everyone!
Tried to update yesterday, but lost the post when I got logged out. Lame.
Anyway...
Heater hoses and thermostat installed.
Heater valve and core restored/resealed and installed.
Power, RCA, and speaker cables installed. I had some extra wiring and figured I may as well.
Tail light lenses and gaskets installed.
Engine bay degreased.
Wiper motor replaced, again. The reman I got before died, maybe from faulty wiring.
Speaking of wiring, EVERYTHING works again! Very good feelings here
Dropped sun visors off at an upholsterer, should hear back from him on Sunday.
Have lock pulls on all four doors now! (Still need two driver side interior door handles)
Wow, it's amazing what some silicon spray lube can do for the heater control linkages. Everything is sooo smooth now. Is that good for the long term, or should I use something else?
Last week I ordered a two-piece molded carpet from Australia. Carpet looks pretty good in the photos, even has enough to cover the door sills and the area below the rear seat. I'm thinking black, chrome, and dark brown for the interior color scheme. Basically everything black, except the door and kick panels, and wheel wells which will be the dark brown. Then the standard chrome bits all around. Sound horrible?
Looking into the future,
I still want to clean/tuck much of the engine bay wiring.
Change up the headlights some, Hi/Lo beam combo on the outside with fogs for the inner lights. This will include a replacement, relayed harness.
CLSD. Fighting the purchase right now. Friend has a freshly rebuilt CLSD R180, the only problem is I don't want to also have to buy the stub axles for the conversion... Still looking for an R160 though.
I might have some more good stuff done today, filling with coolant and testing out the 'new' heater. Dash is mostly back together, just need to secure the wiring back into place is all. Anyone know what a 205/60-14 tire will look on a 14x6 wheel? I don't want the tire to look too 'bloated' is all.
For now, I'm off to the junk yard!

Fit is pretty good, but will require holes to be drilled. 1990 Camry
Driver side has height/tilt adjustability on the seat bottom and the back has tilt, as well as adjustable lumbar. Everything is controlled by big knobs. Not my favorite, oh well... They are a blue that I'm having a hard time describing, I'm thinking I might dye, and if that doesn't come out right I can have it done right.
They look like they had seat covers on them for a long time, they're real clean, aide from a few stains and seat belt wear.

Car's coming along great. Personally I think the color scheme would be fine. This is the tire fitment tool I use. Seems to give me the info I need. Just plug in all the sizes and see.

Thanks for the support everyone, I need it.
Does anyone know a good replacement for the hood to cowl rubber seal on the 510? If I knew how they work, I might be able to figure something out....
For now, updates will be slow/minor while I gather parts, things like KA gasket kits, and whatnot

Quick tip on your wiring diagram. Once you get a copy that you like and get it color coded to your liking. Take it to a print shop and get it laminated. I have done several this way. So much nicer to work with and dirty fingerprints just wipe right off and it looks good the next time you need to use it.
For the Newberg/Dundee locals, the print shop outside Fred Meyer is convenient and I think it is only about 75 cents per page. So you wouldn't want to do an entire service manual, but a few pages is certainly worth it. Also, I am pretty sure that they can to up to 11x17 too.

Well, work has been slower than dirt for the last month. Leaves me with lots of free time to work on the cars...
I wish I would have had my diagram blown up a little bigger and laminated. Would have save some of my ink from having to print it a few times after it got dirty and crinkled...
I've been working on a big list of small things that need to be done before the engine+trans come out, and before the carpet and rest of the interior go in. I'm definitely waiting for a new trans before the carpet goes in, don't want a gaping hole in the carpet from the 4-speed shifter cut out.
Anyone ever seen the door panels on a 510/1600 SSS sedan? They are pretty slick, and I bought a set! They come with all four arm rests and the two rear ashtrays. They might be the last interior aesthetic items I buy, and I'm SOOOO excited about them!

Sooo, I bought a '78 620 today... It came with a KA24DE long block, a 5-speed Hardbody trans, an L20B with a 5-speed auto trans, slotted mag wheels, stock wheels with the moon caps, a set of some generic white wheels, new brakes, and a bunch of little extras. Told my buddy I would sell him the truck, running, for what I paid, and the KA goes in the 510. I think it's a fair deal, seeing how he'll probably do most of the work on the truck anyway. I'll see if he wants to put up a build thread.
The KA is already in the garage ready for work! Oh, and get yourself a motor lift so you don't have to have your friend help you carry the thing down a long driveway!
I'll get more photos of the truck and whatnot tomorrow.
