So I sat and stared at it for a half hour or so

Image

Got acquainted, took in what looks to be needed for a smog delete, and power steering delete

I need a good FSM that covers the DE motors well. Suggestions?

Maybe a link to a PDF :)

I also got this header in the deal

I have yet to be able to determine if it will work with my swap or if I need to buy an exhaust manifold too

quick update:

header may or may not work... wont know till we get to the test fit
KA 5 speed will work just need to remove the speed sensor and replace it with a gear and im good to go
L series and 5 speed thats in the truck will go up FS to fund the swap
im am going to regasket the KA while its out (brave choice huh?)

fuel pump is next, ive read about whalboro's but some ppl say they are loud.... and a noisy pump would be annoying

pick n pull wants $25 for any pump in the yard, im thinkn about just finding something with an inline pump and a 2.4 L motor and calling it good.

figured id buy a fancy pump when i add boost

Who's gonna hear it when the truck is running? I'm sure that thing will have a phat exhaust and it will be nobody. Only hear a little whine right before you hit the button for startup

ive read of 510 guys with 2.5 in exhaust hearing it in their trunk...

and the whalboro is $100

JY pump is $25

I have heard sooooo many people make similar claims. Then they get rid of the Wahlbro. Its not just the sound, its the vibration. And for this reason I wont use a Wahlbro.
