I don't really know. I drove the hell out of it when I was trying to dial in the su's. Blew a hose and almost overheated one time, took it pretty high up the rpms a few times, and I was already burning plenty of oil. May have just gotten too low once and it finally caught up with me.

Man.. that sucks. Sorry to hear it.. it's been a rough weekend for Datto's. My battery took a shit on me.. I was walking distance to a new one. But that $100 I didn't plan on spending.
You have a spare L20?

Ouch. Yeah. Canby season approaches and the shit hits the fan.
Had a questionable l20b block in storage, but ended up just buying a good one from Jake (henryhustler). So now I've got 3 spare engines in storage.... Need to clean house.
So the build is now:
l20b block
a87 open head
u20 cam
early SU's
with any luck a 5 speed will fall into my lap before I get it all together.

Sounds like a good build! Unfortunate but.. at least it's an upgrade.
