Got some awesome updates! First of all a pic of my brand new windsheild. Then on my drive home from work I realized I didn't have a rear view mirror yet or the fender mirrors properly aimed haha so I went home and ran new speaker wire for my 6x9's and reinstalled my speaker and mirror setup. Then I replaced every fuse in the fuse box with brand new ones in an attempt to rule that out as the source of my dash light issue. No luck there... Then I realized when I plugged a spare dimmer switch in to test a few months ago I didn't try grounding it to the metal in the dash. I plugged it in and as soon as it touched I had dash lights!!! I swapped it in there and now finally after months have light! Oh and I fixed more wires too haha I now have a heater motor again and an interior light that turns on without having to have the key on. Basically winning all around today

Soo purdy

I haz sound and sight!

It's funny how you can take things like dash lights for granted, then once they're gone it's such a big deal. Pretty nice when you figure it out, though. Each little electrical system that I get working again makes me feel like I'm driving a whole new car all over again, every time. Great job!

Thanks guys!
And micro: no kidding dude haha I drove with my gps as my speedo for 4 months. I almost forget they actually work now. I also went the last year with no heater motor or controle valve hooked up to the cable. It's like a whole new truck haha

Anyways I got some stuff done today. Yesterday I picked up a new drivers door from Pdx Matt, it's rust free and streight! Gonna weld up the holes from the old mirrors and get it primed. Then I rolled my front fenders for clearance for the offset on my front wheels, I already rolled the back so now it matches! Then I pulled the fenders off so I can do the body work and primer. Looking at the drivers side one I decided I didn't want to use that fender because it looked like there could be rust issues in the future. Luckily I already have a brand new fender that's never been on a truck. So I decided to use that one instead. It was a non nissan repop tho and it lived up to it's reputation for fitting badly. I ended up spending over an hour just getting it to fit right. It sucks to bolt up but it looks great. After fitting I rolled that fender to match the other one. It got dark so I'm gonna have to tweak it more in the morning. Then I'll throw some of my extra fenders on and get some body and primer done on my new fenders, valence, and cowel. Getting a new furnace installed on Tuesday tho so no green will happen till I can get my garage back.

Nice new door

Yep lol it's moved with me twice. Nothing I can't handle tho. The old one had about 6 dings, and had rust por15'd. I figure I'd rather have no rust whatsoever and less dings to fix. The other will be kept as a spare of course

So I must be insane... I sanded down the roof again for the 4th attempt at painting the roof. This time I'm armed with more knowledge and tips from the paint dude. In the morning I'm gonna mask it off and do one last dusting before laying down color. Then if all goes well I'll do the body work on my front fenders and get them in primer. The doors will happen next weekend lol

So it was dry enough so I unmasked it and checked out my handy work. It still has a few small imperfections and a slight texture but it turned out good enough with no runs and looks beautiful in my eyes so it'll do. On to the fenders!

Soo beautiful
