I did a little on this after I worked on the work truck today, I now have front park lights, and I can get the front blinkers to work most the time, I still cannot figure out why the alternator doesn't charge, and the Delco Remy alt. is to big to put in there, at least the ones I have, so I have put that on the back burner for the moment, the temp and gas gauges both work now, so does the oil light.
I do not know why I have no power to the headlight plugs, the only relay I see is the horn relay, but nothing looks like it is missing either.
I will mess around with it tomorrow a little more, see if I can get the rear lights working, and start thinking about what needs to be chrome plated, and need to start to think about the interior, see what can be done about that also, I have a decent back seat as an example.

Multimeter and start back tracing all the points. I believe they have power all the time and work on a ground system yeah?

I have no idea how it worked when Ken drove it briefly, it was a positive ground system new, now it is negative ground.
I was kinda hoping that if I connected everything up it would just work, unfortunately I figured out today that I could remove every fuse and it kept right on running, it seems to be a theme in my life right now, somewhere there is a wire that is not supposed to be connected, and since Ken sprayed everything with primer, I am having trouble figuring out what is stock, and what has been added in the engine compartment.
There is also a chance that when I removed all the wires from the ignition key assembly, I got something backwards when I put them back on, I will fool around with it tomorrow.

ok. Well if it's not ground only system, I would check the light switch. See if the contacts are corroded in there.

I have a pdf of 1962 320 pickups. IDK how accurate it is, but can send it if you need.

I figured out what was up with the headlights, it took a while to get to the issue, but these old parts are fixable, it was the dimmer switch, it was so dirty inside of it, that it was not making contact, so I pulled it apart, cleaned it, put it back together, tested it, put it back where it's supposed to be, hooked everything up and it works great, all it took was a little bit of my time.
I actually got quite a bit done today, all lights front and back work, running, turn and brake, but the brake pressure switch is bad, but I will likely put that on the pedal anyway, all the lenses/bezels are installed, headlights are working in both modes(reg. and brights).
I pulled the instrument cluster and the glove box insert, I wanted to get a good look at the wiper system, at first I thought that the wipers themselves were frozen, but they were free when I pulled the arm off the wiper motor, so I spent a couple hours trying to get the wiper motor running, but it was not to be, fact is the cover was taped on it, well it turned out that it was not even the cover for that motor, so i gave up on the stock motor, I started looking around at what I have around here and looked at all the 320 motors I have, none were even close to this RHD setup, so I then looked at the 520 and 521 motors, but they were not a good fit either, but I have some 720 wiper motors, and they look like they might work, so I figured out how to make one run which is interesting, it's all about grounds BTW, and I fit it into position, drilled some mount holes, connected some wires, and it runs, so I took the 720 arm and cut it shorter, drilled a hole for a mount rod/pivot, cut a sleeve for it to spin on, connected it up and gave it the juice, and I watched the posts move back and forth, it works great!
Here is the 720 wiper motor mounted.

Here is the arm I made.

It's not wired yet, I will do that tomorrow, I will get a few more photos in a while, it's time to eat.

Nice job tracking the dimmer switch fault Wayno.
I hate doing electrical, it does my head in!

Must be just the angle of the pic, but that wiper motor looks close to the hood when closed?

It will be close Shane, but it won't hit, I would not have put it there if I thought it would touch the hood.

The former owner hacked up the wiper motor harness, or the owner before him, either way I am going to have to make a new one, as there are butt connectors in two different places, and no sign of the original connectors.
I am going to have to do something about the fuse block also, it has so much oxidation on it, that I am having issues with the fuses making good contact, I am always having to move them around and pinch stuff tighter to get it to work, and when I shut the headlights off, and turn them back on, 50 percent of the time I have to do it all over again to get them to come on again. :(
I pulled the turn signal switch apart also, the right turn contacts are not working very well, but the left side is much better, I have another one, but it is black, and this truck is off white.
I am going to have to do something about the alternator fairly soon also, it is not charging, I would prefer to keep this one, as it is very tight in there.
I have another problem now, I looked at the 2 rear bumpers I have, and they are both pieces of crap, not sure the chrome platers can fix them, but if they can, it will likely cost a small fortune.
I messaged Mike(Steriod on Ratsun) about the fiberglass NL320 rear bumpers he made to see if he has another one, as the platers are going to need something to look at to see what one is supposed to look like when straight.

If you are unable to fix the turn signal switch, just swap and paint!

Yea, right now I am going to keep moving forward, DanielC has been using vinegar to clean up fuse blocks, I think I will try that, I have to do something other than the same thing every time I turn something on, I am tired of messing with the fuses.
If someone was selling a new one on ebay I would buy it, but no one is. :(
The problem in a nut shell is that every time I check a wire for power, if there is no power, I have to go to the fuse block and make sure all the fuses have power on both ends of the fuse, and 90 percent of the time it is a bad connection.
I think I am going to need another clutch slave, I found the clutch master empty today, that's not a good sign.
Things are going fairly good actually, so far I have been able to figure out every electrical issue without it taking days, I am hoping that wiring the wiper motor to the switch is going to be easy, although I am not going to have an automatic return, I am going to have to time it when I turn it off, fact is that I will likely never drive this in the rain, but it has to have wipers to be legal.
OK, here are some photos, headlights, I don't like how the park lights are not on when the headlights are on.

Ok, so I got some more done today, I wired the wiper motor to the switch, it was a little confusing at first till it dawned on me that the reason I had no power at the wiper switch was because the power goes straight to the wiper motor from the fuse box, then comes back to the switch to be grounded, and as I had not wired the motor with power, there is no power at the switch, I don't know, it just seems like if you got a switch it should have power, welcome to Waynos World.
After that I installed the window winders for the door windows, unfortunately the windows themselves were in the wrong sides, so I had to pull the doors apart and put them back together correctly, I also made a run to parkrose hardware for some screws to put the doors back together as I could not find the right bolts/screws, anyway the door windows roll up and down now, the passenger side is great, the driverside not so great, but it works and it doesn't rattle as bad now, when the door is closed it sounds more solid now.
I pulled all the seats out and they are going to ratdat(Todd) tomorrow.
All I need to do now is figure out the charging issue and it will be a driver. :)
I spent the rest of the afternoon fixing my 4 legged ladder, it was in awful shape.

.
How about taking the alternator out and taking it to a shop that can rebuild it?
