i had to remove the studs from all six tires on a dually last month, took for fucking ever... Those wont last too long if youre gonna drive on those all year, the rubber is wayyy softer than an all season tire.

They are on the trailer, and even if they only last a year, I am a year ahead.
It took a while to take them out, and I got a small blister in the palm of my hand.
The pointy punch type screwdriver worked the best, I was a little worried about making a hole in the tire at first, but after I got a feel for where the end of the stud was, things went well.
These studded tires are basically new, I had to use them for something, as we are not getting ice or snow on the roads around here anymore.

When I do that at work I stick a tire patch to my hand to avoid blisters, that stuff is no fun haha.

My power for the fuel and temp gauges has been acting weird lately, this morning it gave up, and when I got home I could not get it to work with another power regulator either, and I tried for quite a while but gave up and put another instrument cluster in that did work.
Electrical shit baffles me sometimes, I took a known good power regulator and put it in my original cluster and it would not work.
I am starting to think it might be a good idea to start looking for another 1980 Datsun 720 wiring harness, as weird as they are, I don't have this phantom shit going on with them as long as I don't start adding wires every where to run stuff I don't need, I can take every fuse out of my Datsun 521 work truck, and everything quits except the engine, it keeps right on running till I turn the key off.

Unfortunately the new to this truck instrument cluster speedo don't work properly, at first it showed way to fast, now it won't show anything over 40mph, the odometer seems to work properly though.
I guess I will have to take it apart and put the original speedo/odometer in this cluster, it's always something.

Well here is the load of wood from yesterday in my driveway, 14 pieces.
Image
And here is the load from today, 25 pieces, but they were smaller rounds except for 2 of them.
Image
I will try to remember to take my camera to where I am getting the wood from and take a couple photos, I have to roll it uphill to get it out of her backyard, it took me 2 hours both times to load them in my truck, roll it a few feet and rest with it pinned against my knee, repeat several times, I am getting bruises everywhere because of the meds I am taking.

Here is todays load.

I forgot to take the camera with me to take photos of the hill I have to get the wood up to get it to the street, I have one more load I believe, but a few of them rounds are so large I am going to have to cut them in quarters with the chain saw to even deal with them.

Yep, it was built for this type of work.
My body on the other hand is not holding up as good, I have hardly ever gotten a bruise in my life except for really bad hits, right now I have bruises all over my arms and legs, I believe it is the meds I am taking, the doc and me are going to have a conversation about this August 1st, I am going to bleed to death inside my own skin at this rate.

I had Betts Spring make me two extra leafs for each side of my stock 521 leafs, one full length, and one just slightly smaller than the longest stock leaf, I have, 7 leafs total, but the bottom one is the over load flat type all of them came with.
I also have over load air bags and coil over type shocks, this truck is made to haul weight, but it still rides decently when no air is in the bags.
Here is a photo of that area.

Here is the last load of wood, I had to quarter four of the pieces because they were too big to roll up the hill.

I also forgot to bring the camera again, I have to go over there tomorrow to clean up a little, that was the deal, I will try to remember to bring the camera to show the hill I had to get/roll all this wood up.

The wood is in the shed now, I might have enough wood for 2 years now depending on how cold the winter is, I have about 8/9 cord, 4 of it pine while the rest is Douglas fir.
Image
I am wore out, I hope I can sleep tonight, it's hard to stack large pieces.

I may earn the sleep, but when I work too hard I cannot sleep worth a shit, my muscles hurt all night and keep me awake.
I miss Ibuprofen, the doctors said I could not take it anymore, they said Tylenol is all I can take now and that shit don't do shit, I really miss Ibuprofen.
At least it was already cut, and in descent sized pieces too, so I cannot whine too much, I am going to stay warm this winter. :)

I used to also, 1200 milligrams or more a day since around 1993, now the doctor says I cannot have any since my heart attack.

Dang dude. thats rough

Been having bad issues for the last 8 or 9 months... Fighting with my dr to get it taken care of. Getting really pissed off. Ended up calling the hospital and talking to upper management. She's acting like a fucking orange cone in the road, and I'm gonna run it over.
