New World Datsuns...

Got the motor and trans out, the auto will not be going back in.... Ever


Half the exhaust is out, it had a super trap at the end.... Also never going back on


The Driveline is out and looks to be tight and in good shape!


And to top it off the running motor that was in the 610 got picked up and paid for by big Schlink so it's out of my way, off to a good home, and put a little cash in my pocket for frame repairs

The best part of tonight, was getting a box of random goodies from Ed that he found in his garage!!!! Woot!!


AND! I got a pair of aluminum bump steer spacers too boot!


So far the project is coming right along!

Now to figure out the next phase.... Frame and core support straitening

I think you got a good deal whatever you guys did. Might have to head over to ratsun and see if ed has a thread going yet for the 521. anyone know if he does?

I have a set of bump steer spacers that I need to install myself (forgotten).

I cant wait to see this thing all cleaned up! I remember the first time i saw this car, I was riding my bike around Beaverton and it blew past me on Walker and dissipeared around the corner. one of the most bad-ass dattos ive seen in person!!

He does not.
Been talking to him about it.

It will probably lose the bed if he decides to do anything with it.

so i finally got a cover/designated spot at my apt complex to park the 610

its right accross from my garage too!!




and then i picked up a used car cover to hide my wrecked baby cus her ugly ass face violates the apt rules

You do a lot of work Adam. Like a lot... You work on other peoples cars so much, you don't have time for your own. Maybe you should teach how to work on a datsun class so you can get them trained up and off on their own and have time for your awesome rides Or tell them to get started on their own, trial and error man. Plus a lot of reading online?

baahaha i know, just giving you shit man. Don't stop at the standard colors tho. Get out there and see some custom cars and shit, they have wicked colors out there these days.


If it were me. I would find something with a fuck ton of class topped off with some sexy. Something that compliments the car, and its lines. Don't stress mang, you'll know it when you see it.
