Just got word my mounts just shipped

sweet sauce boss! When's the plan for the swap?

Once all the pieces are here, ill finish the weber swap on my truck so I can pass DEQ(I traded my SU's for some parts)

Then once I have tags it's game on! I've got 6 or 7 weeks left to finish the swap so I'm still on target!

Why mess with the Weber swap? KA should pass DEQ without any issues. Probably without a cat too.

I was thinking the same thing.

My cousin knows a guy who swapped in a mk3 VR6 into a 88 Jetta. The VR6 was cleaner at the tail pipe without a cat than the stock 8valve was with a cat.

The walboros, and holleys ar both loud, but if mounted correctly you can cut out the vibrations and it quites them down a whole lot.

I think I'm honestly just gunna use a JY pump..... $25 and i get the mounting brackets too, then if it goes out i can get a brand new one from the stealership
