My truck needs an alignment yes. And pulls to the left a tad... but I think you have driven my truck once I believe.

My truck isn't that bad. My brakes are tight! And I know how to drive her like she wants to be driven. Hell no one drives my truck.
However I do need to slow down... and have...
That day I let my aggravations get to me way to much..

I've driven it like thrice.
Rode in it more.

It takes a lot to put me on edge.
Your truck does that.

Alignment=$50.

That it is not. I'm just as aggressive when driving.

It's the lane changes your truck makes when braking or accelerating that freak me out.

I care. I just want you to be safe. Align it already.

Say you were just costing, 'not in gear' and you put it in gear and steped on it without holding the wheel, the truck would go into the other lane.. always hold the wheel... its not as bad as it was when I got it, shit was really bad! But I got under it and fixed the brakes now its half as bad. Haha.

When I first bought my 521 in the olden days, when I hit the brakes firmly, it would try to yank its way to the left, I figured out that my upper control arm spindles were shot, you should look at them, if one of them breaks while you are driving/hitting the brakes, you are not going to be happy with the resulting front end drop.

What does one look for Wayno? On the upper control arm spindles? I'm pretty sure I have some new ones though.

Yeah lets get this torsion adjust bolt first haha. We were only looking at the top of the bolt, the middle of its threads are shot similar to the to first two threads.

I am talking about the upper control arm spindle, the spindle is the part that mounts to the back of the shock tower, see in the photo below, one is a complete upper control arm, on the right side is a spindle, the bottom of the spindle has a bushing, the top has no bushing, when they get worn out, the bushing gets sloppy on the spindle shaft, sometimes they are so worn, they move around a half inch inside the bushing, some are so badly worn, that half the threads are worn off the spindle shaft on one side.

This is what I got.

I got these 'a pair' from flatcat. If mine happen to be damaged or some I'll be sure to put these in.
Tomorrow I'll check them out and maybe take some pictures. Thanks Wayno.

Looks like your set, doesn't mean that it will fix anything, as this may not be your issue, I just brought it up, because it was an issue I had a long time ago, it always pulled to the right I believe when I hit the brakes, but mine was real bad, almost fall apart bad.

I have a feeling something is loose or broke down under there.

No mine isn't real bad it pulls to the left. I'll get an alignment and if that doesnt fix I'll investigate more.
I'll still look at them tomorrow just to make sure they look ok, I've got my truck in the air right now do to me not reading and a 42 year old bolt thats toast! But the junkyard has a few I can grab.
