I'd wait on making a decision on the wheels until you do get the windows tinted, they might look good as they are.
just a thought on the wheels, wonder what the wheels would look like with a few 1/16" Kawasaki green pin stripping on the outer edge to give them some depth and to break up the black some. Hmmmmmmmmmmm

Personal opinion here..
I think that nothing is going to help "those" wheels. They are just too wide, sticking out too far to look good.
Reminds me of the old video game "FROGGER"

been slow this week, so had more time to spend on the hulk....
start of side view mirrors, door handle / lock, and chin
new steering wheel, steering column, and door panels redone, dash needs to be refinished and seats dyed black:
exterior almost complete. will finish up the bedliner this week and start on heater core. the whole point of this was to have something i could drive in bad weather. i didn't want to drive my other car in poor conditions, so this thing must produce good heat!

color the tailgate letters?
There is a guy that can get you the art and you can take it to any vinyl shop to have them made.

Needs less poke and a little more meat.
I really like the black accents with the bright green paint.

i found a guy who does the vinyls in fla. ordered them earlier this week and they should be on the way. flat black.
i like the idea of the green pinstripe around the wheels (had that on a previous ninja i owned), but going to hold off until the bed liner and tint are done before making any adjustments. i agree that it should break up the black on the wheel from the tire. thanks for the suggestion!
i've owned several ninja's over the years, and is where i got the idea for the theme of the truck. i've even thought about putting a flying K on it somewhere (mud flaps maybe). shrugs.

happy Turkey day everyone! progress while my turkey was baking in the oven. it was a beautiful 63 degrees, sunny with no clouds today here in good ol' south ga so my son and i tore out the heater core. found a few "issues":
1) water flow valve was stuck shut
2) the cable that moves the water valve wouldn't slide the valve open/shut even if the valve wasn't stuck
3) heater core "radiator" was nasty as all get out
to fix i did the following:
1) soaked in solvent and cleaned. then sprayed with lubricant
2) sprayed with lubricant down the sleeve
3) cleaned out the heater core with pressure washer and high pressure air

If I was there, I would probably have re oringed the valve. When I redid my heater core, I also refoamed the box.

FYI: that heater valve was still available new from the dealer just a few years ago for under $20 IIRC.
Truck is looking great.

i thought about ripping into it, but it seemed to be in good working condition after cleaning it up real good.
so far, it seems to be working well. i filled the radiator to about 80% after doing some research/reading. hopefully this will produce enough heat in the cabin to keep me warm back and forth to work.

I would fill your radiator full the way it's supposed to be, if your having issues getting up to temp, then the thermostat is bad, or you don't have one.
When I am going to drive in really cool temps(below 20 degrees), sometimes I put a small piece of card board in front of the radiator that covers a third to half of it, that keeps the radiator warmer when really cold outside.

X2 on the cardboard in cold weather. I cover half in the winter months.

Looking Good!
Just a suggestion - when you touch up the bed, coat the areas covered when the tailgate is up. Since they're not green (
they look primer gray), covering them in black would be a nice touch ... unless you are going to paint them green to match the rest of the truck. At least the door jams are green.
