I hear ya, but that head is fucked anyways. it cant even be milled again. I'm going to have a funeral for it. Im about ready to have an epic battle with my ol man. there has been plenty of times ive had the money and we've had the time to do this. I think maybe his issue with me getting another doods help is maybe a territorial thing. I dont know. I dont have a man brain. I just know im on my last thread of patience. :(

me and banner could say we're married, or act gay, or something like that...if he still has a problem then, I don't know what to tell you.

A series. And a "man" that is too lazy to fix his woman's ride and doesn't love Datsuns.

I have not messed with an A series engine in quite a while now, L block is a piece of cake.
Is there a good head waiting to be slapped on?

The reason I say an L series is a piece of cake for me is that I don't need to count teeth or anything to time the cam, I do it by eye now, I just know what the cam is supposed to look like when the engine is at TDC, I have done the head so many times that I don't even mark the chain anymore, I just slap it together and look at where the #1 cylinder cam lobes are.
I cannot recall how the timing chain timing is done on the A block, I have a book around here somewhere, as I re-did an A15 cam chain timing about 5-6 years ago, the former owner didn't have a clue when they did a headgasket.
I have no issues helping out, I just have to read up on it before I tackle it.
