Re: Eugene Datsun Group
Hello,
I am new to posting on any forums, I ran into a fellow here in the Eugene area just about a couple weeks ago that told me to look up a local Datsun group he was a part of, not sure if this is it or not. However I own 2 1979 Datsuns and am in need of some troubleshooting on my 210 wagon. Was told about a 210 hatchback that has a lawnmower jetted carb that outran some top performing Hondas if that helps.
Everything I have is stock. No aftermarket parts but both vehicles run and have been maintained by me for quite some time. I need to do some engine work on my 210 with the A14 engine. There's a pinging/rattling sound when I put enough pressure on the gas to engage my carbs accelerator pump. Sounds like a rattle from under the hood and was wondering if anyone could steer me in the right direction.
