Let us know on the quality of the seals?

For sure!
I can tell you I went with vintage rubber on the 510 windshield. I went cheap ass thai seals on the trunk seal and 720 windshield. I can tell you the thai trunk seal feels cheap.. doesn't compare to say my Z32 OEM seals. But, it's out of the sun and it should keep water out.
720.. well its a beater.

So I started working on the rear brake lines... I got one replaced but pretty much fucked the brake line nut all up.. but I got it back in and threaded. The driver side rear is such a fucking bitch since it's up under the suspension. The threaded brakeline nut is of course fucking unbelievably tight. I even tried applying heat and my 10mm keeps just fucking the nut up more and more. Looks like I'm going to have to buy a brake line wrench and pray it will work, otherwise time to drop the suspension. That would be a lot of work just to replace a brake line.

Getting ready to put a windshield in. Still need to get different seal........
Anyway, there was rust in the 4 corners so I scraped it out and painted it with Zero Rust. I wet sanded away a lot of the grime around the edges.
Next up I'll tape it off and primer around it and them paint over that with some color matched paint in a rattle can.

omnomnom. looks good. curious, why not do the whole thing like that instead of just the corners?

Mostly because the rest is pretty sexy already. But also because the next steps will be taping the rest of it off, roughing it up a bit, priming, then color match paint.

Small victory today. Got my M10 x 1.0 die today to clean up the threads on the driver side rear brake hardline. They cleaned up really nice and I shouldn't have any issues installing the hardline and new soft line.

Once that goes back in I'll pull and clean the master inside and out then test. I will probably just buy a clutch kit and install the 4speed for now.
Either I will find the rest of the parts for the dogleg I've got.. or I'll build the short tail 720 as wayno described.
Two questions about the 720 tranny though.. is the input shaft the same size? and is the the same spline count?

Yeah, they are nice. M10 x 1.0 was one I didn't have already. Doesn't seem to come in kits.. unless it's a master kit or something.

It's been a while since I have had any updates to post. There has been some updates behind the scenes. First off, I finally found the correct color in a paint chip book and had it put in a spray can. I haven't used it yet.. but I was glad to find the correct color. The paint shop I went to had plenty of records for color code 817. The only problem was.. none of them were correct. lulz. For the record, the color is...... beige. I've changed the title of the thread to reflect.
Also, I have been in contact with the PO of this car. He got around to digging though his parts and finally let me see come take a look. To his credit, he's partially disabled after suffering a few major strokes. He is doing much better than the first time I saw him. He was having a blast showing me his parts stash and surprised me with his other 510's! He never told me he had them. But they are not for sale. One is his very first 510. A beautiful red 2 door with a SSS L18. Sorry, no pictures to respect his privacy.
Anyway, I bought some parts from him which were originally from this car. Most of them I have already a few I don't.. Many will be for sale.
Emblems, trim, quarter latches
Hood trim and lower grill trim. Both of which I needed bad.
Dash switches, ignition switch and surround. Heater control knobs, cig delete plug, and bunch of hardware.
You thought all of these melted by now huh? Glove box!!
Turn signal switch, steering column clam shell, and a set of seat risers.
