I like your project, and I look forward to seeing you pull it off. I also wouldn't want to see it end in a failure, and I'm glad you took my post as it was intended. Someone should be able to help you check for cracks in the Portland area. If I learn of someone in your area I'll let you know.

True magnesium wheels are rare ... 10" wide 13's are crazy rare :twisted:

OK, I have been checking around the greater Portland area- the going price for dye testing is between $250- $500 just for the center section, spokes and lug nut holes, X-rays start at $500 each! About that static display...this is more than I what to spend!

You have some very special wheels, it would be nice to see them get some action ... safely, of course.

I can only image the value would go up, after you could show they're fine. Then again, spending that kind of money to learn they're not any good would suck. It would still be cheaper than most accidents that would occur, but it would still suck. Thanks for the update - keep us posted! :thumbs:
