Hardend seats, but cut about as far as they can go.
Intakes are 44mm, 35.5mm exhaust.
Took another cc out of each chamber also, for a total of +3cc, wich if they can surface less than .005 off the head then I should be at 10.49:1 compression! Perfect! Hopefully they can get away with only removing .003 during the resurface.

Fun fact, my stock combustion chambers where up to 1cc different from each other, and none where exactly the same.
Now there all exactly the same!

Very good work on the head work son !
You didn't get your steady hands from yo daddy ... that's for sure.
Machine shop did a great job on yo head with a mirror finish !!! NICE.
( I didn't realize that type of surfacing is what they all probably should be capable of offering until a year ago. Alas it's all who we know no ? )

man, may 2014, I'm a piece of fucking shit...
guys, I moved to Idaho, and just started getting my shit tied together, staged to move into a place with a garage, or close to it.
unfortunately I broke the shit out of my ankle, august 24th 2015, and it has been really hard to do anything, and I've completely wiped out my savings, and then some.
I haven't been taking well to healing, and developed this so called complex regional pain syndrome on top of my injuries. which I assure you, sounds like complete fucking hokum.
I have been going thru 4 day a week physical therapy and cortisone injections, and these epidurals in the back of my knees that turn my leg into a dangling turd for a day or so.
Living in this prison cell concrete studio basement apartment, with hospital bills stacking up, and cigarettes running thin, all I can think about is the 710 I have rotting into my brothers yard 500 miles away.
I looked for along time for this car, and its full of all the shit i all ways wanted, and I' have no idea if I can ever get back to the point I can even fix the neglect, let alone finish it.
poked the rot out, cut some panels and shoved it into the grass. should have just sold it when it moved under its own power.

No one has a crystal ball that really works, as far as I know ... how could you've known this was going to happen?
I wish you all the best on your recovery, and with any luck you'll still be able to save that 710 - positive thinking can't hurt!

Precisely. Life sucks sometimes. Anything that has happened can heal and/or be fixed. Just get yourself better right now. You can repair the car later.

not realy tho, this is probably it, can barely take my trash out, I have no income at all, and ive drained my savings, and this may be my " how I became a homeless bum" story. and even if I can "scrape" by, its most likely the extinction event for my projects.
I have a wide set of skills, none of which are of use to me right now, or in the foreseeable future. and even if I got myself some sit down mindless pull the lever type job, I cant reliably get there, many times I have to take brakes while driving in town, or walking to the car. my leg compulsively shakes when my heart rate elevates.
building and installing stage equipment is over for me, I cant climb the access ladders any more, even without 100 plus pound of cable to carry I cant make it more than 10 feet off of the ground before I start to lose control of my leg power.
I will never have the control to walk trusses with my left ankle, even if the shaking, and locking just went away, ive torn a lot of the "meniscus web" that gives me fine control of my foot. The damage to my ankle sent several bone shards thru the carledge gap in my ankle. the voids that where left are acting as a cheese grater on the cartlieg that's still there
I doubt very much that I will be physicly able to touch this car in a long long time. and will never have the money , ever. shit I ow more than ive made in years.

on top of that, ive allways been fat.... but that was when I was super active. wake up at 5 and work hard all day, and then hit my projects hard.
I cant doo shit now, and its translated to a huge weight gain. which is even worse for my ankle. if my calculations are correct, I shall reach bo weavle status by canby 2016.

I don't necessarily like that but I "liked" it because I can totally relate.
Keep fighting the fight, man. Get healthy. Projects can wait.

Yes... Keep fighting the fight. I may be able to arrange for a place to store the car if need be, and get it off the ground at least. LMK if there is anything I can do. Maybe we should start a "Save Banner" thread. One where we gather all the people we can and get to vancouver and wrench on your car for a weekend to get it up and running / moving under its own power again.
