I'll try to post what happened between now and the last update ... painted all the floors; installed all the interior, windows, trim, bumpers, and went back to front coilovers for now

This car reminds me of that scene in the Dukes of Hazzard movie where Bo says he's gonna make love to his car and then Luke says "you mean make love in it" to which Bo retorts, "no, I'm gonna fuck it".

I didn't want to put the stock fuel filler neck, and leaking gas cap, back on .... so I found this on amazon:

Cut the stock filler pipe and found a scrap piece of exhaust pipe with a reducer:

Hopefully the sheet metal screws are temporary ..

This is a "vacuum only" cap ... it didn't idle good, but a NON-VENTED mazda B2200 cap fixed it:

I need to re-route the vent line, but it seems to run good now ... This was after I painted the trunk:

I traded some wheels for this Air Management system from twisted images ... just basic manual valves, a double needle gauge for the front, and a single valve/gauge for the rear air shocks:

I needed to re-locate the evap/expansion tank, above the fuel tank .... so I made some brackets:

They are welded under these burn marks ..... and the welded nuts hold the air tank up-side down:
