Hood installed.. grille installed.. new battery installed. Rolled it out and cleaned under the car.. Tomorrow it gets a temp seat and a spin around the block.

May have to find time to hit the yard... I just need one that will fit my shift boot without modifications.

I'm using a 620 shifter on my dogleg. It will make you hit your fist on the dash. So I torched it and bent it. Its awesome. I also got a real dogleg shifter, and prefer my 620 one. I gave my dogleg one to Derek, and he said he prefered mine.

Is the 620 shifter the same as the one on the right? Not familiar with it.

far right is 720 IIRC, second one may be 620.

I had same issue with punching the dash when shifting :| You know what works excellent? A b210 shifter... Its short, straight up like the far right one... Kinda gotta sorta reach since we a little taller than some people and the seat is back... I dig em anyways.

I install shifters forwards and backwards sometimes... figure out what i like better... sometimes when backwards they like a pistol grip shifter out of a moparz!

I like the 720 shifter I have now.... but it's a fatty and doesn't fit da boot.

Called interior guy today to see about getting him to do the carpet.. He said he can do it but the car has to be there and it will be molded in place.. Plus his time is limited.

For the time being I might just run to a upholstery supply store and hack something out for nowz.. then get the real deal done later.
